There's this guy I know who's really nice to me and so sweet! But the thing is, he's nice to everyone. Sometimes we spend hours talking, and we seemed to have SO MUCH in common. And then he was saying how he writes poetry, and then next time I saw him, he said I inspired him to write a poem. It was a great poem too, and he liked going around and telling people I was his inspiration. He also comes up to me and talks, and waves/smiles in the hall. Like me or no?

He may do, it certainly seems likely. You do however mention he is 'nice to eveybody'. I think the contents of the poem is the key. To claim you inspired him to write seems like a fair bet you're on to some thing. good luck
