Singles & Dating - 17 February 2007

ok i'm really good friends with this one guy at my school. I also used to like him in the begining of the school year but i let it quiet because my friend liked him A LOT, but she said she's suddenly stopped liking him because she met a guy at her family's New Years party and she has a boyfriend now.

So i thought that I could bring up the whole liking him with out guilt again. All of our friends tell us that we would be a cute couple and all he does is smile when he hears it but he doesn't say anything and sometimes he acts like he likes me but i don't know. I like him, and i really would like to know what it would be like to go out with him. Although the current news from my friends is that my friend who liked him before still does.

My best friend who I have known for forever is saying that she will ask him if he would go out with me hypothetically on Monday. How do I separate the like of an extremely cute, sweet, and perfect guy from the worry of losing a really great friend?

Lately Ive been depressed because I am 20 still no boyfriend. Guys say im pretty and like my personality but I hardly ever get asked out. Am i going to end up alone. I hate seeing everyone around me with someone.

all i ever do is sit there, and dont say anything,and when i do, it doesnt last more than a couple exchanges of talking. a couple people start talking, i try to jump in with no clue about the subject, or i know whats going on but dont have much to say, there is just silence from me otherwise. hell, i bring up subjects with normal people i hang out with and it doesn't last more than a couple lines. this is only amplified with the girl i like.

i need to get out a lot more but i was brought up like this. never had siblings so i was always alone in my room. my parents dont help with the fact that to them, vacation time from work is time to stay home and continue working on/in the house or yard. and i dont go places because of that, which means im around people less. which means im socially awkward. (im also only 16 and yes i can drive and go places, i dont like going to someplace alone, and also the way i was brought up was to wait for invites to places, and not just go or invite self)

so this boy asked me to go out on a date. and I said yes. Well the more I thought about it I figured it just wasn't a good idea. hes my ex's friend, he's like in love with me and I don't have the same feelings for him and I don't want a boyfriend. I'll be going to college soon and I don't want to be tied down. I know that nothing is going to come from him, and he is also my good friend and I don't want to ruin our friendship, although I may have already. Okay. This is going to sound pathetic. I am a 19 year old girl and have never been in a romantic relationship before. Right now I have the chance to be with some one I really really like. I mean really, I got it bad. Any way. I have a hard enough time connecting with people. Trying to connect with some one that I'm romantically interested in is a completely diffferent story. I broke up with my ex because I didn't like how he was ignoring me and neglecting me and telling other girls the same things he told me "you're beautiful.. etc". After we broke up I didnt hear from him but then I started to miss him so I called him asking him if we could talk and try to patch things up cause if we love eachother we should work things out. Ever since then he's just been talking about how I hurt him by breaking up with him and how he doesnt wanna be in a relationship with me anymore. He's become really cold to me and it seems like he doesnt even care. I dont understand how this guy couldve told me he loved me and then now its like I dont exist. What's his problem?

one guy is a grade younger, he's nice and everything but my friends don't like him because he's in a grade younger. he's my same age. he sits my me sometimes and he's cool, but I just don't feel like I like him as a boyfriend type. he really likes me though... the other one is in my grade, but he's a year older. he isn't the kind of guy that I ever pictured myself with, but I still feel that I really like him sometimes. he's nice but he really seems jealous (of the other boy that likes me). he also flirts with a lot of other girls. he asked me to be his girlfriend, but I said no. I honestly always pictured my self with (not to be mean) a smarter person too. I have no clue what to do, one of my friends says stay single, the other says go out with the boy in my grade, but I feel that me and the first guy have more in common (but I don't feel like I want to be bf/gf) It's all crazy, but I thought that maybe getting some opinions from people other than who I already hear from might help.

Situation: im 18 and these 2 girls i know from school sit together they're both really hot... but i only like one of them. The one i dont like asked me to lunch in front of the girl i do like... and i said "ill think about it" but finally agreed... next thing i know i was having lunch with BOTH of them... and I said "i want to sit beside (girl i like)" the other one was like "no i want to sit beside her" and pushed me out of the way lol. Whenever the girl i dont like is flirting with me, the one i DO like ALWAYS looks away. everytime. I even tested her on this and it worked. I got alone with her once and i asked her if she wanted to walk with me and she paused and like started touching my sleeve and she's like "let's wait for this other person..." i dono.

I have been with my gf for about 3 months. The start of the relationship was really dramatic, as I asked her to break up with her boyfriend of two years to be with me. That was her first relationship and this is mine. Things have been going pretty well since then.
Recently she met her ex-boyfriend to tell him off (she told me first). But then when staying over started crying intensely and after me asking many times what was wrong, she told me it was because of him. But she didn't say she wanted to go back with him, just that she was upset. Things seemed ok after we talked about it a lot. That was the first time I ever saw her cry (she's usually not that kind of type).
That was her first time staying over, and now she says she can't stay over again for awhile because of her parents and is acting cold to me. I love her, I really do, but I worry so much about her feelings she says she loves it when I tell her I love her, but she doesn't always say it back to me. I'm very confused!

I have a friend. I am mad in love with him and he knows it. Since he knows this he likes playing with my emotions. For example he'd tell me he loved me then the next day he just ignores me. Also one day I was on the phone with him and he started talking reall dirty so I sort kinda mabe got reallll horney. Any way he told almost everyone I know about it. I have always been fairly precocious, and I learned about women and sex far earlier than other guys growing up. The weird thing is, I never had a gf, never had sex, but everyone seems to have this idea about me that I'm... experienced. I'll admit that I never actually TELL ppl that i'm a virgin, but i don't ever proclaim that i've had sex.

This guy i met during the summer lives in Rhode Island. We both really like eachother and kissed a couple of times when he we were together. He may be moving out to cali (where i live) next year. He has a gf right now but is getting annoyed with her. Well a couple of weeks ago he sent me pink roses and he said he sent them because just because. Also the note was about he missing the time we spent together. Well does this mean that he likes me or what? And is this weird becasue he does have a gf.
