Singles & Dating - 17 February 2007

so I've been with a new guy for more than a month now and he now tells me he needs space and that he's reconsidering things because we had two fights/arguments.. what pisses me off the most is that he cannot accept a human's flaws and wants things to be just "normal and perfect"... and apparently I am stubborn & selfish...and all I can do is laugh at that...
he's told me he loves me... which I think is sooo stupid when clearly,this isn't love... Love is something that includes sacrifices...which clearly I don't see any...but anyways...
Can I get some advice? What do you people think is really going on?

I met this guy on net and I dont share with him some things which for me is private matter, like I have an almost 3 year-old baby. His work gave him chances of travelling in many countries, till I met him in person not just once and he fell in love with me. Everything seems good, till I felt close to him that I have learned to love him too.
We hang out together, communicate often when apart and we're like in a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship for months now.
I never knew that I'm going to love him, I thought he was just a net friend and it will stop there. I can feel his sincerity, efforts and he's a nice person. I wanted to tell him about my baby, and this bothers me for months now bcoz our relationship's now becoming so intimate. I'm afraid how things will go and how will I start telling him. I dont know if he will understand everything. I'm 23 and he's 28, I love him so much now. He will again visit me soon.
I need an advice.

Ok so I dated this guy a few years ago (7), and his relatives mainly his cousins have met me and others I have spoken to over the phone. They have told me that he talks about me alot and says positive things at that! Now he has moved out and is living with his girlfriend ( who by the way knows his cousins) She has never seen me nor I have seen her. Recently I sent him a text simply asking how was he going? His girlfriend saw the message throwed a tantrum and destroyed the phone ( smashing it into the wall) Now it is a harmless text. Nothing lovey-dovey or rude. So why get angry to the extent that she did to destroy the phone? Now i havent talked or seen him in 2 years and that message was the first in two years and the onlyone at that, it was only one message! and they live pretty far away . Is it she acted that way cause she has heard things about me in which she thinks I am a threat?or heard things that may indicate that my ex still has feelings for me?

Who out there believes in god and has premarital sex?

Are you aware if you have sex with someone the bible says that you are married to that person forever? The act of sex is what make a marrige, not the saying I do part.

A lot of people say they believe in god...but it seems to me that a lot of people have no idea what they believe in.

And really there is no such thing as premarital sex, once you do it it's done....this is true stuff...look it up.

finally got up the nerve to ask my crush(my trainer) to 'hang out". i text messaged him asking him that we should hang out soon and he text messaged me back ten minutes later...that he would, although it have to be the next time he gets paid because he's broke as a joke" quote on quote.. and as we conversated furthur he went on to say that he's a shy guy when it comes to women, because he's afraid or rejection.. I asked him does he fell confident enough to get with an attractive woman.. he said yes but usually but he's not in pursuit .. well, he said it depends what mood he's in...So I text messaged him about a job, he referred me too, but he hasn't called is that good or bad?


And on on top of that..he has in the past invited me to his church group(but never came through on his invite)..and he invited me to workout with him(never followed through)..but he has told me that if I ever hang out to call him..so we can hit up a movie..so I did

i notice that i tell myself that i wouldn't make the same mistakes in future because i learned from the past and in the new one i make the same mistake again and again... and it just not me i notices this with my friend. they consistently make the same mistakes. for example they fall in love to fast, give in, take in the mother role, meet jerks, meet uneducated men ( no college degree even worse no high school diploma), come off to strong aka head strong, a little too sexual

How does a person know if their over someone? See I really really like this guy, but after the last dance, I finally figured out I'm not what he's ever going to be looking for. So how do i know if i'm truly over him? Do i have to wait until i see him again? What if i still like him? How do i get over him, and dating other ppl isn't an option cuz one, i'm not outgoing and two, i go to a tiny schol so there aren't many people.

I met this really nice girl at a social event recently and invited her out to a hockey game. We had good fun and arranged to get togther on another ocassion. The second date we went out for dinner, then to a movie and then hung out at my place playing guitar and listening to music. The third date was similar, dinner out at a nice Japanese Restaurant and then we went for a walk and also watched a movie at mine. Each time, when it was time for her to leave, she gave me a quick hug and then went straight in to her car. There was no 'moment' for a goodnight kiss or any opportunity to hold her hand or have any physical contact on any of the dates. We exchange emails daily and have a good banter going and I send her a card on Valentines Day, so she knows that I like her in that way. Question is, should I bother going on a 4th date or should I just leave it and move on. Her words say one thing (very complimentary and encouraging) but her actions tell me she probably isnt interested.

it is a long story but i have reason to believe that these 2 men i know (one more than the other) have a possible bet going on on how to get me into bed.
