Why do we make the same mistakes in a new relationships, that we would have done in a old relationship?

i notice that i tell myself that i wouldn't make the same mistakes in future because i learned from the past and in the new one i make the same mistake again and again... and it just not me i notices this with my friend. they consistently make the same mistakes. for example they fall in love to fast, give in, take in the mother role, meet jerks, meet uneducated men ( no college degree even worse no high school diploma), come off to strong aka head strong, a little too sexual

Will tell yourself.....no more! We just fall into patterns and maybe lack self estem in ourselfs and don't think we deserve better....BUT WE DO! So before you start to hang out or date someone get to know them first....what are their life goals.....and make sure they are in college...or forget it. Good luck!
