You don't know for sure. I've trusted "best friends" with secrets only to find out they weren't friends at all. I have friends that I care about very much and would never betray, but if I had a secret that could hurt someone, loved one,friend, family member or myself I wouldn't trust anyone. People are strange and for some reason if they get the least bit upset they don't mind sharing your secret and sometimes take pleasure in it.

You can't ever know the only person you can ever know 100% if work very hard to understand is your self. Even then people screw it up. If the secret is huge never let it out you will have peace of mind. If some one trusts you with one then don't screw them over, never because that will build charater and you will respect your self more. Self respect and self understanding are the key to a meaning full life.

You can't. YOu just never can be TOO sure. THe best thing is to just speak w/an outsider who would have no one to tell or atleast no one in your social circle--friends or family to "spill the beans". Or just keep your thoughts in a diary to express them this way and LOCK IT UP for safe keeping.

I have a really good friend, who I know only on msn. And I LOVE talking to her, especially because i can tell her ANYTHING, and i know that it cant get back to my friends or anyone who knows me, because we dont live in the same country, and she doesnt know the emails of my friends. so she basically knows EVERYTHING about me...if you really need to tell someone your secret, then do something like that. maybe if i knew her in real life i wouldnt be able to trust her, but because we only know each other on msn, we can tell each other anything without being scared that someone we know will be told of it.

if you are having doubts about whether you can trust someone with something, i think it is best you dont spill your biggest secret to them.

Tell you the truth. You can't trust anyone. Honestly not even your own mother. Don't tell anyone your secrets ,because people love to have something over you.

that is the reason secrets are secrets, you can't tell anybody about them. There is no way of you knowing who you can trust
