ok, my boyfriend, the love of my life, resently started talkin to this girl who i absolutely hate!!! and it turned out that he also got her something for valentines day without tellin my. i dont know if its a big deal or not. should i tell him, or should i not. we have been through so much. and i dont want to add anything worse to his life,cuz he has a lot of stuff goin on. wat should i do?

Turn on a tv talk show, read a womans magazine, the local newspapers feature articles on the problem all of the time!

But it just gets me how foolish some of these women are. And some have been around ; they are much older than I am. They have certainly had time to make critical decisions about issues concerning their OWN LIVES!
Where's your self-esteem? Why do you need a man to "define" you anyway.? And why oh why do you allow a man, a so-called man, a dirtbag in most instances, to exert the audacity to abuse you at all? Does it make you feel loved? needed? important? Do you secretly embrace the idea of being "controlled?"

I just can/'t understand why a woman allows a man to abuse her, either physically or emotionally.

I met someone online recently. We like each other a lot. He expressed an interest in dating me. Initially I accepted, but soon after we both decided to take more time to decide since we hadn't met in person yet.
Things continued fine - he was witty, charming and kept up "the chase". At the beginning, I had my reservations about dating him, but I've come to realize that it's best to give things a chance and see what comes out of it.
Since about a week ago, he's become distant and withdrawn. He isn't trying to "woo" me anymore. It may seem like he's trying to do the opposite. Could he have changed his mind, the way I've changed mine?
We are meeting in person next week for the first time. I want to tell him that I'm keen on dating him too, but with his recent behaviour, I'm not sure what to do! I think he is also worried whether the relationship will be successful or not because of certain issues (such as race etc).
I'd be grateful for any constructive feedback. Thanks!

There this girl at school that is always shy around me or something. Most of the time she is late to school to go to locker in the morning, but everytime she gets to school early she goes to my locker and just stands there and if I dont tell her anything or talk to her or something, she wont talk and leave.Thing is that she always talks to me online but never in person. Everytime I see her in the hallway she sees me and just smiles. Also this is the girl I like. Any help?

I have been single for two months now, and I get hit on all the time, but I would realy like to go on a date or something I am really bored. Yesterday night my friends and I went to the movies and I sat next to this guy who I've met once before. It was great--the last time we hung out together I thought that he was a pretty cool guy and didn't seem like he minded me either. Yesterday my friends said he was flirting with me the whole time during the movie and after and whatever--I guess he could have been. After the movies we were all headed to one of our friend's house to hang out. My friend was driving and she dropped me off to where I parked. I said I didn't like driving alone and that she should come with me, but he got out of the car and got in my passenger seat instead.
