i really like this guy at school. hes a year older and he likes this other girl i know he would NEVER like me.hes always on my mind. Any ideas on wat to do to get him off of my mind?

here's the thing... i dated a 25year old that just sits on the couch and we argue... so we just broke up recently... he hates the 61 year old... he thinks that he's competition... yet the 61year old is the party animal... the person that is in better shape than a 30year old... and no i am not into the money... i work hard... at this age i am a manager for a restaurant and i am the youngest of all... and to tell you the truth 61year old is kinda of attractive... and yes he's been married and divorced once... i think we balance very well because we talk about our problems all the time and we seem to have the same thoughts... and most importantly he makes me laugh...

I don't have a clue what my problem is. Most people say it's because I'm young (I am a teenager). I used to want a girlfriend, but it got old, and now I don't. I could not accept for example, getting a girl a gift for Valentine's Day, because I am afraid I would look funny. I would tell someone else to do it. I am afraid to show love at all. I am very unemotional, and I could never get any emotions. I view myself as a soldier, not a romance lover. I don't think I could ever get a girl, nor do I really want to. All the girls I know are taken up. No girl would ever want me, but that doesn't bother me, because I have given up looking for a girl. I could never show my love for anyone, and I don't even think I ever loved anyone or anything. I won't go to a psychologist, nor do I want to. I am not gay, but I really hate romance.

I have been single for almost 6 yrs. Every man i date does not seem to want to take the next step in a relationship. (Not marriage)

Well. I like these 2 guys...and they like me...but they're b.f.fz! and they made an "Agreement" that neither of them would talk to me or have any contact with me what so ever, and I'm sad because we all were really good friends and i feel as if this whole thing was my fault, and I wanna continue being friends with them but they're not talking to me, and they're not even talking to eachother anymore, and I'm scared and sad, and confused because of this incedent and I see them tomorrow in school 2morrow!! if maybe you and your man was going through, and you, out

too. and recently you found out his cheating made another child

I am a big self doubter and very sensitive. I do not often go after girls for fear of rejection. I end up only dating girls who go after me. Every serious relationship has gone the same way. She goes after me. She later expects me to be a man but my being a man is not how the relationship began. She ends up dumping me. OR I only date/get close to the big flirts who end up being fickle and breaking my heart. I feel so guilty goin after some girl I like. If she isn’t obviously interested I figure she is annoyed with me and I bug out. It might have come from: my parents telling me its okay for the neighbor girl to beat me up and I don't need to fight back; or the barrage of criticism I received as a child from a parent and then all of my close friends who treated me like crap because my weakness allowed this. I have been working on my crap for years through counseling, good friendships, dating, prayer, spiritual growth, ....etc.... Its easy to tell me to grow a set but how do I do that?

its like this in short he has cheated on me twice but i was hurt by his 2nd affair bocoz the girl was a very nice girl he fooled her financially ,emotionally and phisically h, he owes her money which he says he wiil pay when he has it ,but he is buying furniture for himself . why dosent he pay her? .i didnt leave him bcoz i was too weak and too much in love with him at that point of time but eversince then things have never been the same for me this was more than a year ago but now i am finding it difficult to forget it i loose my head when i think about it and what he did to that girl .ok i come from a well to do familly so sometimes i doubt whether he even loves me plus he is totally unromantic he dosent do little things that make a girl feel good i dont mean expensive gifts but 1 rose, a unexpected token of love ,dinners ,goin to movies,but when i say this he says you come from a better familly you do it i would but i am aware of his nature i am scared it has to be from both sides

OK, so recently I started seeing a guy that I work with. He says he doesn't want a gf and wants no real commitment, but calls me every night asking how my day was etc. Sometimes he texts me, also we have spent numerous nights together going out, dancing, dinner, etc. We have fun together, however, I am a great deal younger than him and I believe that this scares him. Also, because we work together we remain very professional at work, so we have to hide our emotions. Another thing is that he calls me up to do things, but doesn't set a time or activity, just that we should get together later. He keeps things general, almost like he is fighting with himself internally. I believe that he likes me, people at work have told me that they think he likes me and I have to play dumb and pretend nothing is going on, but at the same time he is very confusing, because he tells me he doesn't want commitment. What do you think? I am confused.

I briefly dated a good friend of mine several months ago . He broke up with me over a stupid mistake I made. But we still have become very good friends. (We're both 30 btw)
I still like him a lot and want him (secretly)
Recently he protected me from a crazy guy who was bothering me in the city. He acted fiercely protective (which is funny cause he's so gentle otherwise)
I just found out from friends that he still has feelings for me. But he just got out of a bad dating experience , is busy with writing grad school thesis and Im going to be working 70 hour weeks for next 5 weeks plus have vacation for two weeks in FL.
Should I wait to explore us dating again ? Or go for it now ?
My gut says wait until Spring and if it's meant to be it's meant to be ?
Smart to wait ?
