Singles & Dating - 12 February 2007

I have known this guy for years, since we were kids, however he is about 7 years older than me. I'm 22 and he's 29 and i'm wondering if thats too old? We recently saw each other in the pub and got chatting. We've never done that before usually its just a quick 'hi, how you doing?' in the street. This time we actually sat there and chatted, he made me laugh alot. But im not sure how i feel? Im always happy to see him, we work in the same field although not together so we have that in common. My issue is that he's not my usual type, infact he's the complete opposite, he's a primary school teacher!!! Im just worried that he's alittle old for me? Different points in each life and all?

what do i do? we have been going out for about a year and a half now and she constantly puts other things like when im trying to talk with her about something serious she will go watch a movie on her computer or say i have to go download this song. she does things like this all the time. also if i am late going somewhere and i cant leave because i need to talk to her but she is on the phone with her mom. she wont try to hurry up the conversation or write a note to me or anything. i try to whisper to her and she just signals for me to be quiet. i feel so dumb and like a second class person to her. like the least important thing to her is more important than my most important thing. i dont know what to do about this but its really making me resent her and get angry about it. and when i confront her she makes up excuses than apologizes and eventually does it again. its a cycle!

I am new to my this company I'm workin....and, just after 2 meeting's in a training session with this male colleague, he can't seem to leave me alone. He seems keen in taking me out to dinner, but I have been declining his offer,... then later he ask me out again, I was pretty sure he's trying his luck again, in case you're wondering .... yes, I'm NOTintrested in this guy, but don't get me wrong, I do like him as a co-worker....He knows I'm available, however,...That's not gonna stop him from trying again even though I have tried telling him NO.

I dated this guy for over two years and we split up because he was having major health problems. he moved away to be with his family. were talked as friends and a year ago he was in town he spent the whole time he was here with me. told me he loved me. i can see that he wanted me back, but i was not ready. he is 12 years older than me and i felt that i needed to see what my other choices were before i commited myself to him. i didnt want to regret my decision. i have come to realize that i do still love him and always have, but now he has a girlfriend. he calls me all the time and tells me he loves me. we are great friend and we both know we were ment for each other. after all this time we are still very much in love. i want to move up there but he told me to give him time to get rid of her..(she is crazy like needs to be locked up crazy) i am trying to be understanding and not pushy. i havent told him how i truely feel. should i? am i missing something such as a signal?

We were dating for two and 1/2 years but she left me for reasons she can't explain, she still tells me she loves me every day and i still love her. She also says that no matter what we will end up together. She decided shortly after dating me she wanted to date someone else. Its been two months now and they're still together although she admits she enjoyed being with me soo much more. She refuses to leave him and im not sure if i can deal with the pain of waiting and watching her with another guy, should i move on or wait it out? Yes i have approached her with the situation many times, she feels terrible for hurting me but shes too stubborn to end what shes started. She also refuses to take place in acts such as kissing, she says it feels like shes cheating on me. Im not sure if i should stop talking to her and hope she comes back b/c im afraid she wont and i don't want to look back on my life and say i missed out b/c i gave up but also i feel as tho i am waiting for nothing.

We recently met, to her credit the excuses are good. I want to hang out and see if something more than friends can happen, but I think she just wants to be friends. She calls me as well, but everytime she's called my cell I either had the cell off, volumn off, or couldn't hear it...

I am really not trying to mess with her, but is she trying to mess with me? In the past 3 weeks, I've called her like 4 times, and she's called the same number with me...

Is this even worth it? It feels like phone tag, but more frustrating.

im in high school... i still have a hard time deciding what to do with this girl i like on valentines. i will send her rose and chocolate for sure.... however, i wont see her until after school because we are in different schools and it takes me a while to get to her school... also, i don really know any places around her school.... where should i take her after... it will take too much time to drive to the area i know when i pick her up... where should i take her that day? or should i just send her rose and chocolate that day and tell her to go out on weekend? so we get to spend more time together and not run out of time on wedesday(school day)? what should i do? help thanks
