I dated this guy for over two years and we split up because he was having major health problems. he moved away to be with his family. were talked as friends and a year ago he was in town he spent the whole time he was here with me. told me he loved me. i can see that he wanted me back, but i was not ready. he is 12 years older than me and i felt that i needed to see what my other choices were before i commited myself to him. i didnt want to regret my decision. i have come to realize that i do still love him and always have, but now he has a girlfriend. he calls me all the time and tells me he loves me. we are great friend and we both know we were ment for each other. after all this time we are still very much in love. i want to move up there but he told me to give him time to get rid of her..(she is crazy like needs to be locked up crazy) i am trying to be understanding and not pushy. i havent told him how i truely feel. should i? am i missing something such as a signal?

No, you got your signal--you just gotta hang tight. Just because you're ready now, it isn't fair to get or feel impatient because he's not..(baggage-wise). You were allowed time when you needed to do your thing....now he feels he needs a bit more time to tie up this loose end--and him doing this in his own time and space is essential so that your plunge together isn't pre-mature. He loves you--you know that --"...let it go and if it comes back to you, it's yours"

ur story is very unusual and i know u will be under a great stress and depressed as everytime u talk to him on phone the times u spent together would flash in front of u but u still try to hide ur feelings. Best method in such case is to write him a letter telling ur feelings and ur love for him. When the letter would reach him he would come to u if he truly loves u. Don't try to date or indulge wid any other guy. Writing a letter is the best message. u can record a cd or tape with ur voice telling ur feelings and parcel him.

Can you really feel comfortable in this relationship knowing that he has someone? Crazy or not ....he is still with her. Did you ever think that maybe she is not crazy ... he is just using that as an excuse. Are you sure you want to be with him, for the right reasons now? Just make sure this is what you really want and you are not just being the jealous ex.

there if he loves you like you think he does!

If you feel somthing for him and he feels somthing for you that would cause you to talk all the time and question whether you loved him then i would say yes. Everyone makes mistakes but we can always fix them. Its worth a try. Plus if he wants to break up with someone just to be with you then well that means somthing.
