Why would a guys flirt a lot and make me think they want to know me, then when i ask them to hang out they make an excuse. is that a game or something?

example, a guy flirts with me for a while, then when i actually ask him if he wants to have a drink together, he says not tonight.

Guys like the hunt.... once the quarry is taken its not fun anymore and they move on,,,
as long as you wouldn't talk to them they wanted you now your available no more challenge... your lucky you didn't lower your standards and was used then dumped
