He was protecting you from yourself. He didn't want you driving while drunk so you wouldn't have a chance to kill or maim yourself or others. He might have been a bit disgusted at your drunkenness too. Since it sounds like he locked himself and your car keys in his room, he was indicating that it was fine for you to go to your friends house because he left your purse out on the table where you could get to it, but you'd have to walk or call a cab or find some way there other than driving yourself. You should get to know your bf better.

He prevented you from driving drunk, which would put your life and the lives of others at risk. YOU COULD HAVE DIED OR KILLED OTHER PEOPLE, INCLUDING YOUR FRIENDS. Driving drunk is not only against the law but it's incredibly stupid. Thank him and then thank him some more for preventing you from making a HUGE mistake. If you think that you can drive when you're drunk then you're incredibly stupid. Call a cab or just sleep where you are or don't get drunk if you need to drive. There are no other options.

I think he's a keeper - he cares enough about you to stop you from potentially hurting/killing yourself & others & at the same time he didn't want to say anything to you for fear of saying something out of haste - he was smart not to provoke an intoxicated person because so many regretful things can be said in the heat of the moment - give him some time then thank him for caring so much for you (& others that were driving that night)

I think you should listen to him, and should thank him because he save your life. If you don't want him to safe you from drunk and drive a car, he would be so upset about you. Especially stupid, or you could end up in jail cause kill innocent people by hit and run while you were drunk and ride with your friends inside your vehicle.

That shoes that he cares about you. I couldn't tell you what he was thinking for I am not him, but if I did something like that it would be because I didn't want that person to get hurt or hurt anyone else which can totally screw up their life. That little notion shows a lot. your lucky in my books to have people like that around you...just don't let that situation turn into an habit because he might think you are self-centered for not caring about others on the road or irresponsible.

He was protecting you from make a very bad choice. Obviously he realized how intoxicated you were and cared enough to take away your keys. You should be grateful for having someone like that looking out for you.

Are you still drunk?
I think he's thinking about saving some lives, yours, your friends and those who you might have killed after getting into an accident while driving drunk!
Jeeze, give your head a shake...

I think that your boyfriend is smarter than you are (at least about drunk driving) and probably cares about your well being more than you do. Yet, birds of a feather flock together...so he probably deserves you on some level.
