When I was 15 my mom commited suicide (addiction problems)and my father died in cancer a few months later. Was sent to a foster home by the social services. It was terrible there, they treated me very badly. Left when I was 18, have gotten a job and an apartment now. Feels like I've missed out on a big chunk of teen age life, like fx dating, girlfriends and such. My life feels very hard and extremely lonely.
Am afraid that my experinces have made me into an unlovable who cant fucntion with other people. I suffer from social phobia, trouble trusting other people etc. Is currently on antidepression meds + counselling.
Dunno what my question is, maybe will I always be lonely the rest of my life? Should I be worried, will I never have a family of my own?

Thought Id ask the world for some advice.

well i have this friend and she is going out with an other friend of
mines but recently they have bin arguing alot and the other day she told me that she realy needs to find a better boyfriend. now the problem is i have one hell of a crush on her and i dont know what to do. one side of me wants them to break up so that i can ask her her out but then an other side of me is scared that if i do ask her out and im not good enough for her it will end our friendship.
and at the same time a part of me wants to see her happy even if its with him im so confused please help me

Me and my girlfriend have somewhat decided that even though we love eachother and all that we need to hold off on marriage until we get through college, and settled with good jobs and all that.

All good reasons.

But also the reason of, the fact that for both of us, we were eachother's first loves. So we want to be sure that we are meant to be together before we get married. We still hold a very loving relationship (though long distance since she had to move back to her mom's to help out and because she wasnt ready to be going to college seperated from her family.) and call eachother often. But we just look around making other friends and seeing if we find someone that would be more suitable. Till we do we are both in college and working.

We also promised to not have sex with anyone unless eachother(if we aren't dating anyone) or after marriage. So at least if we do get married we wont have to feel bad in that department.

Is this sort of relationship ok?

My long-term boyfriend gets angry when I'm unavailable to answer the phone whenever he calls. I don't know what to do or to think about this behavior. But, when I mention it to him, he denies it.

I've dated this girl for 3 weeks. We met online (Match). On first meeting, I felt she wasn't into me and thought "oh well." SHE contacted me and we later went on a 2nd date, dinner. We stayed at the restaurant til closing and then walked around the city and talked until 2am, when we shared one kiss and went home. Since then, we've spent time together about every other day and have even "stayed over" at each other's place a couple times (no sex, just "rounding 3rd"). I was starting to feel like I could date this girl exclusively. Well, we've talked and she's said she's not ready for that. She's said, to quote "I KNOW you're a good catch.... I like spending time with you. I want that to continue." Also "you're the only guy I have dated" ("have dated"/operative?). She's still on Match. I'm thinking she's caught a pretty nice fish, but game warden's only going to let her keep one. Is she keeping me on the boat for now and waiting to see if she can catch a bigger fish?

me and my ex boyfriend equal sort of going out.
he broke up with his girlfriend 4 months ago because he missed me and what we had going for us.
we kiss and talk on the phone and hang out all the time but we just aren't going out. i've been talking to him for 3 1/2 months now...so maybe he just assumes we are going out..i'm not so sure.
but if you're sort of going out with someone should you expect them to get you something for valentines day?
i'm thinking of just getting him a card and some candy incase he gets me something.
but what are the odds of him getting me something?
do you think he will?

I have known this girl for around seven years now (my family and her family are friends) and in the last year I fell in love with her. I hadn't really had a good conversation with her in those 7 years. Then I got a cell phone and started texting her and got to know her and fell in love with her. This goes out to a boy a lost because i made the mistake of not knowing how much he meant to me for it is said, "Ever has it been that love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation." i jst started dating this guy 2 wks ago and when he txts me he is so sweet and tell me he is so hpy he is with me nd he said he luvd me, but not that in luv stuff jst stronger than like. Well when we go out on dates he always gives me a guilt trip on how im not going to pay, he says things like "O so i guess im paying for you?" but to try nd save me the embarassing ? i payed for our dinner nd i told him im sry for the movie cuz i only had 7 $ left nd i asked him if he wanted it nd he jst took it gladly. There's this realllllyy cute guy at my school that I have a big crush on. Everything is alright b4 lunch, but in the afternoons he has this unbearable body odor. He has a wonderful personality, is really good-looking, and is perfect for me. BUT the one of the most important things I look for in a guy is good hygiene and he doesn't have it. I really like him and I don't know what to tell him. I can't say "Hey, I like you, but u stink." And what if he does nothing about his odor? What should I do? Help me :(

There is this boy at my school and I am pretty sure he likes me. I smile at him a lot just to be nice, and he stares at me and like wont stop looking at me.
