me and my ex boyfriend equal sort of going out.
he broke up with his girlfriend 4 months ago because he missed me and what we had going for us.
we kiss and talk on the phone and hang out all the time but we just aren't going out. i've been talking to him for 3 1/2 months now...so maybe he just assumes we are going out..i'm not so sure.
but if you're sort of going out with someone should you expect them to get you something for valentines day?
i'm thinking of just getting him a card and some candy incase he gets me something.
but what are the odds of him getting me something?
do you think he will?

He may. Sounds like you two may have unofficially started "going out" again. If it quacks like a duck, waddles like a duck, it's a duck. Another words if he is acting like your boyfriend and you are acting like his girlfriend, guess what your boyfriend and girlfriend. Just enjoy Valentine's day. Get him something if you feel it from your heart. Do you want it to be official again? If so, use it as an opportunity to ask him out again officially. Write a note in his valentine's day card. Tell him what you feel. Listen to what he says, not what you want to hear.

If he kisses you then he should be your bf. It sounds like you're way too immature to even be kissing anyone but mommy and daddy. But your idea of a card and candy is good. Keep them on stand by so you don't feel awkward if he gets you something, but to tell you the truth, if he kisses you but doesn't get you anything for VD then he's a bum. Drop him.

just get him something that says you like what you guys have going, as in relationship status...since u dont really know if your officially going out but you are very close to it. So i think you should get him something small, but dont really expect anything back.

ok, first of all why dont you ask him? also one way of thinking is would you see him kissing some1 else as cheating and vice verser? i would say that if you want to by he a vday present buy him one dont make it to do with if he is buying u one. i would say if i was him i would be atleast getting u chocs or flowers. hope that helps
