Singles & Dating - 9 February 2007

I am a somewhat shy guy, but i get outhere and try things. There is a girl at my high school who i iused to be close with in middle school but for the past couple years we havent acknowledged or talked. Dont ask me why. BTW she is amazingly beatiful. She is more shy than i am. But lately she has clearly been making an effort to talk to me, and i have been talking back, but with our shy personalities it is tough to kepp things going. What should i do. Would going on a date be asking for akward situation?

Whats your advice. btw, were both 17.

I was seeing this guy at work for a while......after we stopped seeing each other.....he got a gf....I got a bf......but yet he stills comes in my office every day or so....I work for his boss...so sometimes he has no choice....but most the time a phone call would do or he says he is just here to hang out....take a break....I have been trying to avoid going to his building....why does he keep coming here.....it always seemed to me....when you stopped seeing someone....it is kinda easier to avoid the other one to avoid conflict or hurt feelings.....not that it ended badly.....it just ended....was just curious on some guys thoughts on this matter.....is this strange to anyone else???

I have just got out of a relationship' like two days ago, and i loved this girl and we were togehter for a like a year. She's 17 and im 19. Anyways my question I dont like alot of things that she does like giving attitude and having the rebellious attitude to everything that some one says or asks her, she wants to be so mature but yet shes not.
These things bother me and there are alot of small things that she does that get me supper angry.
so one should i keep this relationship off and find someone thats more level or just date around
and two should i try to work things out and maybe get back together with her?

oh yeah this would be our 5th break up in a year!

Would you think it weird if you have a strong dislike for someone and then you discover you two have ALOT of things in common? Would that in fact show that you two should hit it off (as friends or more)? Why do people hate each other even when they share common interests?

A few years ago, I met this guy off AOL. When I met him, it wasn't for more than 5 minutes as he wasn't what I expected. I later wrote him an email and apologized if I seemed rude. He didn't respond. I changed my screen name thinking that this was all over. I was wrong. When I carried over my buddy list, I added a few online friends which unknown to me were friends of his (this guy snitched on them!). They told him everything about me. I deleted them off my buddy list and turned my privacy on. Now this same person that snitched on them is claiming that this guy is now chatting with my cousin (he hacked into my buddy list) and is using him to stalk me. I've contronted my cousin and he denys it but he acts guilty. I recently called him a stalker and didn't receive any messages back.. What should I do? Is there anything I can say or an away message that I can put up that will make them stop or scare them off?

I'll ask him one question and he either answers with something totally unrelated to what I asked him or he is so concered about making his point that he does not here a word I am saying. I can only take the guy in small "amounts". How do i best handle this?


SIDENOTE: This guy is 56 y/o and the sad part of it is he does not even know he has this problem. I think he has self-image problems. He seems to try to go out of his way to impress people with his past so-called mediocre accomplishments that frankly,no one really cares about.

Why does she ask this anyways? She's asked this a few times and I haven't really answered her. Part of me doesn't want to think that it would ever happen. Then part of me would want to kill the guy. I'm 26, and i'm very interested in this girl who's 41 (and she has expressed interest in me). Would that be too wierd? Should i just resist my urges and stick to finding a girl my own age. I mean, rationally, 15 year difference?? How long term can it be. When i'm 40 she'll be 55? Is it even not worth pursuing??
