I have kids as well. Check out this site; it is a great way to bond with the kids while having some wine. Put the kids to bed after a few card games and a Disney movie. After they are asleep, crank up the fireplace, bring the kid's monitor to the fireplace and cuddle up for some "grown up" fun like you did when you were dating and your parents weren't home.
Half the fun is not knowing if you will get "busted" by your kids!!!!!

Have a late dinner or some cheese, crackers, and wine once the kids go to bed. Snuggle up together on the couch and watch some romantic movies.

Have an indoor picnic. Get a whole bunch of goodies and spread a blanket on the living room floor. Rent a fun movie. The kids will get a kick out of it, maybe even the man. Just watch out for the ants! Maybe you could rent "Curious George"

I gotcha covered. Popcorn, Soda, for the Kids. Drinks for you two. And watch a Movie, called, "Pay it Forward". If the Kids are old enough? Challenge them to see what they would do in that sort of situation. Then see how you, yourself, could "Pay it Forward". It'll mean so much if you try it.
