I'm 26, and i'm very interested in this girl who's 41 (and she has expressed interest in me). Would that be too wierd? Should i just resist my urges and stick to finding a girl my own age. I mean, rationally, 15 year difference?? How long term can it be. When i'm 40 she'll be 55? Is it even not worth pursuing??

Of course its weird, even through your not the only one who thinks like that, its kinda mess up for a person to love a person in that age. I suggest to find a girl who is the same age as you, or pick one that is at least 5 year older than you. Or if you really love that person, go for it.

It really just depends on what your reasons are for being in a relationship. Are you marriage minded or do you enjoy having experiences with different people? I would tend to say that long term this relationship has the odds against it, but anything is possible. You may learn a lot from being with an older more mature woman.

i think that in your case, there's not a problem with the age difference as long as you're comfortable with it. i'm almost 24 and my boyfriend is only 20. in my case, it causes some issues since i'm getting ready to start settling down, and he isn't. i want to go out, but he can't.

my grandparents where 15 years apart, and they were very much in love with one another. what really matters is how you feel. you've said you're very interested, so why not try it and just see what happens once you're in the relationship. you don't want to end up regretting a missed chance. it would be different if you were 15 and she was 30.

I have a cousin who married a woman with about that same difference. They have a great marriage for a couple reasons. She lives a lot younger than her age and he is a lot older than his age. They kind of meet in the middle so that there isn't so much of a generational gap. But there are sacrifices. She already had her kids and wasn't about to have more; he had to be OK with that (and was). 15 years is along time, but not insurmountable.

No problem if you want dirty sex!

If you want kids. Forget it. Go for a women your age or below (certainly no more than 5yrs older). If you are too ugly and all you can get is a much older woman then that's the best you can get so go for it. You only live once! But don't forget........ Just because the woman is ugly or stupid then it is proven that the kids may not be.

Think with your head and not your little-man and you can't fail.

I think that it depends on both of your maturity levels. I am 22 and am dating a guy that is 35, but the guys my age (in this town anyway) are all very immature and they don't look at life the way that I do. Like everyone else here has said, it is not illegal and if you really like this woman than I say go for it!!

i don't really think age matters my mother is older than my dad by like 4 or 5 years and some people date way older women than that so why should you not or at least try and see if the relationship goes anywhere
you never no if you don't try

hope you 2 do well together

Hunny age is nothing but a random number, dont worry about that. I've been dating my boyfriend for over 4 years and he's 6 years older than me and we couldnt be closer. We live together and we care for two young children.

After one turns 30 age matters little.
Does love have a magic number?

Okay, first, if she's 41, I wouldn't call her a girl. Second, age is only a number. It's not illegal so if you really want to, then go for it.
