talk to your friend and agree to who should get him. make sure the one who isn't getting him encourages him to like only one girl. and make sure the girl who isn't getting him doesnt lead him on.

Me and my best friend broke our friendship over a dude who was playing both of us. And the bad part about it he didn't stick around with either of us. So the only think I can tell you is that you need to consider the consequences before you jump in. Girls are forever boys are whatever.

Ask him out! Or at least flirt with him and talk to him and see what his reaction is. There's no reason why you can't at least let him know you're interested.
If you're friend has expressed interest in him then it could get complicated between you if one or the other pursues him. If this is the case, then wait for him to 'make a move' and then agree not to hate each other because it was his choice.

It would help to know your friend's opinion and also "that boy's." Did he like her first, did she like him first, did you have a crush on him the whole time and your friend knew about it?? What is up with the situation here?
If things were as plain as you wrote them out as, then no.....No problems IF you think he likes you but have suspicions to think he likes your best friend.
Don't betray your friends, though....there is a lot that I havne't heard, I'm sure, and for this guy to have suspicions with your best friend should make you want to get closer to your friend to find out what is up......

spend some time alone with him. if it feels right and he's having the time of his life then he certainly doesn't have anything for your bestfriend. if it feels like he's distracted and doesn't seem to be very interested then well it might just mean that he doesn't feel the way you do for him.
of course you could always try and let time sort it out, see what happens after a couple of weeks, months even years. but if you really want to know right here and now, then well do what i suggested first :P
Place of choice : movie theater, amusement parks, having lunch together, etc. be creative ;)

it's not good if that happens, and it means that you should simply be yourself. If he really likes you, he will show it somehow, but don't behave in a jealous way or anything like that. If your friend goes hanging round his neck, or anything of the sort, he will soon be discouraged by her. If you behave cooly somehow, he will be more interested into you and the like. Oh God, I hate these games. They're so tiring and gets your energy out so much, it's crazy!!!

If he is flirting with you and your friend, there are probably alot more girls he does the same with. He is either desperate to get either one or is trying to put you against each other. Lets face it women are very territorial with their men. If either you or your friend decide to get with this guy it is going to take a toll on your friendship. And if he is that indesisive over who he wants is he really worth it? Good luck.

then hes desperate, having too many crushes is immature, you dont want a guy like that. end it now before those "like" feelings grow and make it harder. what if you two were dating and he was liking some one else? that wouldnt be right, but hes already proved hes capable of giving his feelings to more then one person, hes sure to be a cheater, or just girl hungry.

boys are like girls, we always keep an open mind to other girls even if we arent cheaters. he probbly likes bolth of you. IF YOU LIKE HIM GO AFTER HIM. i once asked my friend if he liked a girl i liked and he said no, i thought i was set, but they got together anyway. so dont wait jump on that **** especially since its valentines day...season...
