Why does she ask this anyways? She's asked this a few times and I haven't really answered her. Part of me doesn't want to think that it would ever happen. Then part of me would want to kill the guy. So whats the way you would want a guy to handle that? i don't want to go to jail but I want to defend my lady. Any thoughts?

She probably read a few too many fairy tales growing up, like many of us females. This means she likes the thought of being a rescued damsal in distress. Tell her you would never allow anything like that to happen to her pretty face. But, make sure she isn't the type of girl to start a fight with a guy so you'll defend her. I highly doubt another guy would ever walk up and smack your girlfriend, so just use your imagination. Tell her what she wants to hear. This will work in your favor.

at first I was sure you meant if a guy hit *on* her. but no, you really mean if a guy hit her. OMG! I am not an advocate for violence, but then there comes a time when you need to defend yourself, and the ones you love. What makes me wonder though is why is she so persistant in asking??? It never occured to me to ask this. But then I don't really ever see myself in the situation where I would be hit by a man. Maybe that should give you reason to pause and think. Best of luck to you.

It sounds as if you don't compliment her enough. Unless she has an abusive ex-boyfriend or father the only reason I can come up with that she'd even ask a question like that is because she wants your attention. You need to tell her your honest feelings about how you would react. Not only will it build her ego but it will also make her feel real good about the relationship to know that she has a boyfriend whom cares about her enough to want to kill a guy for laying a hand on her. Remember, when girlfriend is happy then boyfriend is happy *wink*wink*;)

i might have faith her. however the long distance stuff and the actuality that she pronounced "If my emotions replace, i will show you how to already know" is almost wierd. have faith her yet seem out for transformations. As an captivating woman, i understand that i'm getting hit on ALOT even though it would not advise that i visit behave on it. My boyfriend is familiar with and positively sees it like he has a recent that many are after.... Dont enable different answerers freak you out. in case you're no longer tender with the region or suspect something is up, there will be little doubt... hassle-free instincts are great at cases. i choose a guy's suggestion. Seriously though.. I understand where you are comming from.. its a tough position to be confronted with because you dont want to stand there like a wuss and watch your woman get hit, slapped, or otherwise assulted by another man. On the other hand you do not want to appear to be some sort of "beat up em neandrathal" with no manners either.
Anyhow, I would tell her that I would get in the guy's face and say, "Look buddy! If you want to put your hands on someone, how about me? Its obvious that you are afraid to fight a man!"

Gfs will always ask that question but really whats behind it is she is feeling insecure with you so you need to show her that you will even take a bullet for her. she just wants to know if you love her that much that you defend her no matter what. I am sure if you defend her at that time, she will bail you out of prison because she knows that you are the real deal.
In fact ask her that question in return, Will you bail me out of Jail when i defend you?

Most likely she just wants to hear that you would defend her. It's not likely that some dude is just gonna walk up and pound on your girl, so I would really worry about this happening in real-life. However, maybe you should ask her why she is asking you these questions. Just be sure she is ok, and that nobody is hitting her.

She's probably just aking you this so that she can find out if you really care for her or not. My suggestion would be that you tell her that you would probably kill the guy just to make her feel good. That's all she really wants anyway. But make sure you tell her a good reason why you didn't answer her with this before or she'll suspect that you are just saying this make her feel good (which it won't.) Try telling her that you wanted to tell her, but wasn't sure how she'd react and you didn't want to freak her out. This might work.

Women look for men they can feel safe and protected with. She just wants to know if you are that guy. Don't worry, the chances of her getting hit by some other guy is numb. Her question is just another woman thing. All you have to do is say to her " honey I would give my life for you"....I bet she will be smiling from ear to ear after that. Remember, she wants to think her Knight in shining armour will come to rescue her. Hope I helped.

For many, it comes down to not really knowing until we are in that actual situation...we can speculate all day how we'd react but that's easy to do when we're not faced with it...
If you would protect her, then tell her so...but I wouldn't go so far as to say I'd kill the other guy (if I were you) nor to do it if the situation arose...unless he was seriously threatening her life or someone elses, the whole "I'd kill him" thing is foolish and immature...
