Singles & Dating - 6 February 2007

Well I like this guy right. Well I don't know him. But he seems cool. I seen him and we talked a little bit. This would be a year ago in April. Well he was my sisters friend. And they were into eachother. But my sister realized that she doesn't want anything from him but his friendship and respect. Well 3 times in the past year she brang it up to me that me and him should hook up. I don't wanna jump into things right away because I know it will mess up. I got to see if hes the one I'm lookin for. But dayum he is a hottie. What should I do ladies? Should I go for it and get to know the guy? I won't be seeing him til April though. I have been single for 2 years also. So I'm ready for another relationship. Should I wait and see what he's about? Or just keep searching for another man? And by the way my sister has yet to properly introduce me and him. But I think he was feeling something for me though, He even dedicated a song to me which I thought was sweet. I really don't know what to do!

If you love somebody..and you found that any other man is also loving her.But you don't know whom she loves. You are true from your part...but she feels uncomfortable with you. Even you don't know about man and her relation status....what would you do?

The man makes you confused by his statements (they are truth or not no body knows...)and she doesn't open her mouth clearly.

Its like ..from window she can watch you..but when you try to go near she will try to hide herself...taking gifts but no any compliments or wishes from her side..its like only one track.

I have had a crush on my friend for (literally) 15 years. I wish I was making this up. We go out every now and then and he makes jokes about getting me drunk and taking advantage of me. I honestly wish he would. But I want a relationship with him and I am so scared of making a move and having it fall flat because I don't want to ruin our friendship. So do I make some kind of a move and potentially ruin things or do I just stay silent for the next 15 years or so? I cannot read his signals for the life of me even though we have known each other for so long. I tried writing him a letter once, and the only response I got was "Thanks for the letter." Does this mean I should just resign myself to being friends, or do I make a move? Anyone have any advice or real life experience in this type of situation?

im a normally very calm person, i smoke.
its because one, i like the taste
two, becuase it calmes me down

ive got exams in less then 4 weeks. im freaking out
im terrified of failing.
i smoke, it calms my nerves

main problem::
my friends, 3 of 4 ex smokers, are constatly moaning at me to quit.
when they smoked they wouldnt take it when people did that to them.
i need it.
i dont want to quit

how do i get them to leave me alone about it??

I met a guy padddy when i was 19 and we fell madly in love at first sight and i never felt like this before but thing didnt work out to well and after a year or so all we did was fight, so we broke up and i moved out even though i still loved him and he still loved me. Then i met my current boyfriend mark who i am with for 2 and half years now and i love him very much last friday night i went out with the girls and i ran into paddy for the first time in a year and a half as soon as i saw him my tummy fliped i still love him so much and i know he still loves me even though he has a girlfriend, but i love mark too and me and mark have a house, two cars and two dogs what the hell should i do?

There's a girl that i am always thinking about and she is in some of my classes at school. We know each other a fair bit and have hung out many times just us 2, and i THINK i like her.

How do you know if you like/love an opposite sex? I always feel uncomfortable and want the punch the guy who is in my class and talks and jokes with her.

I've seen this asked a lot on here, but none of the answers really seem like they'd work. I'll try and see what I get.

Two years ago I moved into a new neighborhood. On the first night I went to the local grocery store and this really cute check-out girl flirted with me. I let it go (stupidly) and figured when I came back maybe the door would open for more conversation. It hasn't. I feel like because I didn't act the first time, she's forgotten about me. She still works there, she's a supervisor now. She's even prettier today than she was then. She was there tonight and I just couldn't get a decent conversation started. I still want to ask her out, but grocery stores are always busy in this city (Los Angeles).

Thoughts, anyone?

im 2o years old i broke up with my 3yr boyfriend then had an amazing 6 and a half weeks with someone and fell madly in l;ove. they ditched me without any real explaination now im single and really desperate to meet someone who gives me that same feeling i got over the 6 weeks. i cant relax its all i think about i just feel like time is against me and its so impossible.

My girlfriend use to hang around with a guy friend but I found out that he liked her more then friends so I asked her kindly not to be his friend. So she did just that. But lately she has been going to places close to where he works at. I don’t want to control her in any way. Should I be jealous about this? Because I get this feeling as though you know they will get close to each other and she will breakup with me. It’s a weird type of feeling.
