guys are always injuring themselves with football and various other sports so it would be good to have some sports related interest in common plus if u get it right we will be the ones on our knees begging for U!

Do you warm up before your workout? A warm up can be as simple as walking very slowly for 5 minutes on the treadmill, before you start to increase your speed. I have to warn you...I've had bad knees all my life and was diagnosed with degenerative arthritis in the right knee at 42. I went through arthroscopy with microfracture that month and now take Synvisc injections yearly. The needle is huge and hurts like hell but they do take care of the pain. I've been told that supplements work wonders too, and am going to look into them as an alternative to the shots. Glucosamine is one of the supplements on the market.
It will be in your best interest to start taking care of those knees NOW! Good luck to you.

darling, what on earth were you doing on the treadmill to get sore knees? ;-) the mind boggles... thank god i'm an innocent, otherwise i'd be blushing...
(btw, i've been told a cold compress and some moisturiser is very good for friction burns)

My bf has a broken knee and uses a walking stick, it doesnt bother me in the slightest, the only thing that does bother me is when he doesnt use it and his knee gets sore.

If you look good who cares - most guys will rush to help you walk so pulling will not be an issue
