Singles & Dating - 5 February 2007

Here's the deal, my ex-boyfriend and I were together for 3 1/2 years. We basically broke up because I wasn't ready to settle down and have kids, yet he is. I guess he started to resent me so we broke up last March. I was hurt when he said he didn't love me anymore. Now it's been 10mths since we broke up (and he was almost out of my system) but he started coming back around as of last month. So to my surprise, he's been affectionate and lovey-dovey again. Well, here's the kicker...he told me right after we broke up, he got a girl pregnant!! Could I be anymore hurt? So, ofcourse I still love him the same as I always did but now I'm confused. He says he doesn't even want to be with the girl. I'm not sure if that's game he's running?? I don't wanna cut him off completely. Guys, what the hell should I do??

i split with my ex 4 weeks ago i no we aruge but both are jobs were geting us down i can see that now we split
i wake up thinking i thougt we ment to be in love we not togther and i can not see any big reasons y we shounlt b life to short i love him, he has only text sayin am i ok he care is the 1st step of us getin back togther or he just care,
will he feel the same that we split over notinh and r love is stronger wil he take this as r break wen he said we need 1 and i said nah it over and will he then relasise its silly things and mabie ask me out for valtines

Do you think that today a woman should still play hard to get, let a man make the first move, suggest another date or ring her first? The book "The rules" says you should but what do men really think about it?

Personally I hate hiding my feelings with men but tend to do it because I think it might be safer if I don't want him to loose interest . At the same time I feel very frustrated because I'd like to be able to show it if I can't wait to see him again.
On the other hand does this not hinder the athenticity of the relationship because I wouldn't want somenody to be with me mainly because I played hard to get either. After all it's manipulation.

I had a dream about a guy who I used to have a HUGE crush on. He moved away a couple years ago and I really haven't talked to him. In my dream he came back and left a note for me with my mom on a piece of paper shaped like a heart. I couldn't read the handwriting though. He had a girlfriend in the dream but they were never lovey or anything in the dream. I haven't even thought about him in forever so what does this mean?

. After three months of fantasing, role playing, MMF porn, and scheming my girlfriend and I set up a time to for the three of us to get togther. He was the only one she would do this with and the only one I could trust with to do it with. She has a killer body (we're not exactly ugly either) so there was very liitle arm twisting involved.. So this was a perfect fit-no pun intended! To cut to the chase it didn't happen, too much planning not enough spotonaety IMO. Well when I came back from the kitchen (my friend was in the bathroom) my girlfriend was now sitting on the couch and she had taken her bra off underneath her sweater and undid a few buttons to get his attention.. Also asking (very excitedly over and over) do you think he's going to do it! Well when he left, she said that she was glad it didn't happen! Now do you think she really didn't want to do after all that (especially the "bra" thing/3 months) or did she just didn't want me to know how much she wanted to do it?

There's a man that I was friends with and during the entire friendship he made me thing that he and his wife were in the process of getting a divorce. He even said that my birthday gift would be their divorce papers. I recently found out that he lied about a lot of things. Right now he is overseas at war and I am hurting here in the US. I really loved him (and still do), but he was so busy with a lot of reponsibilites and never had time. He has been really triying hard to get me to accept his apology and give him another chance. I have gone out a little bit but I am thining I should try this one more time cuz I think he is really sincere. I am worried about what to tell my friends though cuz they pushed me to call it off and I finally did. he's a good guy and, lol, is looking good right now cuz he got himself into really good shape, and is really being nice in his messages. he is well educated, good career, and even moved closer to me. he is 40ish, no baggage, I am mid 30s and want kids and he knows it or would not have come back. I miss him but have not given him ANY signs that I do. Should I give him some hints? and how? I fear he may give up if I don't but i don't want to get into the same cycle again...helllllp!

when you realize how many 13 and 14 year olds are already non-virgins and sleeping with people as old as 16-20? I mean, I live in the number one town in America, I can't even imagine what's happening in less fortunate areas! I'm still a virgin, but a few of my friends have admitted sleeping with their older boyfriends. Isn't it sad? Don't teens have morals anymore? I get kind of dissapointed because I believe in waiting until marriage, and if not that at least waiting until you're 17. Why is this happening?
