I really like this guy and he really likes me (neither of us will ever admit it!), but at our school dances, he never dances with me! How do I get him to ask me to dance? (I am too shy to ask him myself)

Well me... since I'm a scaredy cat I always wait for guys to like me. I NEVER ask a guy out.But thats me. For you I'd be like " Hey umm my name is so and so and I've seen you around school sometimes and I was wondering if you would like to go to the dance with me. Because you seem like a really nice person. Or instead of that last sentence you can be like, I've heard that you were a really nicw person to hang around.
Does that sound corny? lol. I'm sorry, I'm trying here!
And if he dont wanna go hell probably say, " Uhhh, I have something to do." or " I'm going with someone else." But good luck and I hope my advice works out for you!

Omg same here! Only I don't know if he really likes me as much as i like him because when ever I'm feeling down and i see him in advisory i always get a smile on my face and it helps me forget about what ever was bothering me. We also flirt quite a bit when we see each other but neither of us will ask one another out. I just think you should go for it because if you know he likes you then it won't be so inbaresing because he'll say yes, ya know? lol

Start to dance with another guy, you know a friend. He will notice the fun you're having and will most likely cut in. You won't even have to ask this way.

you can't get a guy to ask you to dance but you can do one of two things: i had that same problem and what i did was before our school dance (before i got nervous) i told my friends that no matter what i was gonna dance with him and i told them to not let me leave without dancing with him .. so i waited for the whole dance (just incase) and then like the 2nd to last song i just went over to him and was like "hey, you wanna dance?" and a little secret: unless they don't like you as a person.. they will say yes and dance with you.... i know this sounds scary but i thought so too.. im not that kind of person but i am sooooo glad i did because i would be so mad at myself if i left the dance without dancing with him..... if you really can't do this then tell ur friends to ask him to ask you... but i suggest what i did .. im so glad i did it!!

Slip or send him a note saying you'd like to dance with him. That way he knows he's not going to be rejected and will be able to muster the courage to approach you at the dance.

Just ask him! if you are one of those ladies that refuse to do so then step your game up ....Walk up to him and say hello pay him a compliment to break the ice, nothing sluty maybe like I was starting to think there wasn't any attractive guys in here tonight but you look very nice . Then it's up to him if he doesn't bite walk on by. If he is interested he'll be back.

Ask him. Life is too short to be shy. Its your life. Do you want to spend it wishing things would happen or do you want to spend it making things happen. What is the worse that could happen? He wont dance. No chance - guys love girls who ask. Go do it!

ask a friend to ask him to dance with u. if u really like him, be aggressive. u probably will have to end up asking him yourself
