In a world where more than 50% of the women don t get married, and where more than 50% of the elders die alone in their houses in case of disaters because they have nobody, how do you know if you are supposed to hare your life with somebody? and how do you know when you meet that somebody? is the idea of people making other people happy extinct?

Whenever I feel upset about something in my own life, or things aren't going well for me and things are going well for my friends - I don't feel happy for them one bit. I tend to resent them or hope that those good things never happened for them. For example, if my friend were ever talking about how great her boyfriend is and how much fun she had with him one day, and I had nothing new to report with my boyfriend, I'd get annoyed with her for even talking to me about it, and sometimes wish she'd never met her b/f.

It's not like I'm never happy for my friends, it's just that I'm not whenever things aren't going just as well for me at the moment. Is this just a jealousy thing or what? I really don't like this trait I have and I want to feel happy for my friends ALL THE TIME and always be supportive, without having to fake it.

Is there something wrong with me and how can I fix this?

we were kickin it nonstop for bout a week, hes 26000n debt and tryng hard to me it work. the problem he got upset cuz he came to my job which is a bar and i was busy so i didnt give him a drink and i wasnt really able to talk to him so he was mad. that night he went to another girl house that he claims is a friend and slept there. after that happen i wasnt feeling him and i didnt know what to do. its been a week of us not seeing each other but he calls and try but i turn him down. what should i do should i talk to him? i dont really know what to thing or say i do like him but damn.

I startd cutting in 8th grade, im a junior in highskool now. cutting is ruining my life. i told my boyfriend and he said we need a break until i can change. i love this guy with all my heart and i dont want to cut anymore but i always have the urge to do it. can some one please help me. i dont want to lose my man because of this and i dont want to cut anymore.......

Well, this is a reasonably long question, but I'll keep it as short as possible.

I think that I love my best friend, basically. And, after having a few drinks, I told him so. Unfortunately, he loves someone else, his girlfriend. I guess htis doens't sound unfamilar, yet I've still been stupid enough to fall into a situation we've all heard of.

Well, he told me he couldn't feel the same way about me (he *can't*, because he's not gay), though wished me all the best for the future and finding someone else. He said that he wants us to act like nothing's different (and we were really good friends before I starting feeling this way about him), and so do I- desperately. But I don't know how to do so. I don't know how to act near him, what to say to him, and because he's quite physically affetcionate (shoulder-holding, hand-shaking, all in a quite straight way, you understand) whether I should still act that way towards him, or whether he'll feel arkward.

What do i do about this crush and my friend?

There is this guy I met last year and we have been very good friends. Sometimes we would like of flirt with eachother, but we just had a good time hanging out. When he just moved last Oct, I texted him for his address to send him a Xmas card and he never replied back. We still do talk and text eachother a lot, but I have never been to his house. Just this last week I suggested that I make him some cookies and he was very excited, but when I suggested I could bring them to his house, he said he would pick them up. If he is living with someone, why doesnt' he just tell me, we are just friends. Or unless he likes me and is afarid of loosing me if I know about his living arrangements. What do you think?

whats it mean when a guy:
-stares at me
-looks into my eyes
-always finding a reason to touch or talk to me
-tells my bestfriend he likes me then when i find out he says it was just a joke.
-always joking/teasing with me
-in front of everybody he grabs my hand or buts his arm around my waste.

-he does all that to me but hye told my bestfriend im really pretty but he dont know if he likes me like that. then why is he doing all that to me? what do yall think?

the guy that i wanted to date in band class, well he and i are now dating, but we have been datin for over a week, and im starting to think he is crazy! whenever we first started dating he sent me sweet messages over myspace, and then he stopped, then i asked him if anything was wrong, and he stared sending them again, and he even put that he loved me as his headline, but he never calls, and he never sends messages anymore, should i leave a comment breaking up with him for the whole world to see, or should i message him, in detail explaining the break up, or give him more time, please, please, please help me.

this boy told me he liked me like aweek ago. and we always text eachother and talk on myspace. and finally today i told him i really like him back. and he like freaked out! he use to flirt with me and treat me more than a friend, now he is treating me just like a friend. its weird because he likes me so why would he freak out when i tell him i like him? now i'm too nervous to go to school tomorrow. when i told him i like him too hes like. well i do too...why is he freaking out? its making me feel very weird and awkward.
