Singles & Dating - 24 January 2007

I asked earlier if guys would date a big girl and I got the answer that I was being shallow. So, I used to be curvy but thin. 145-150lbs at 5'5 and *poof* ballooned to a bouncing 200-220lbs. I've been asked out, but I don't feel like myself anymore. I feel like the swan turing back into the ugly duckling. Anyone out there that doesn't mind being with a big girl?

Ok so me and my bf broke up yesterday. It was completly mutual and we're still friends, but the problem is he wants to go back out when he moves back here (next year) and the thing is I that I would rather eat someone's toenails and swim through a river of lava.

I just don't want to say 'I would rather eat someone's toenials and swim through a river of lava' I really dont know what to do, I dont want to hurt him because he is a really good guy! HELP!

I have been with my b/f for 3yrs. He lives in L'pool and I live in London. I split with him in Sept but he made me feel guilty for breaking up with him and he persuaded me to get back with him! I split from him because i have fallen out of love with him, it was me doing all the travelling and because i had seen messages from other girls on his phone! iv known my boyfriend for just over 2 months now but because he lives about 18 miles away, he says he can only see me once a week (because of college/work)

whenever we are together were both pretty shy around each other and i think the only way this is going to stop is by spending more time with each other which is quite hard when i only see him once a week

we both love each other and he is a really decent guy so i want to do everything i can for this relationship, but do you think only seeing him once a week is enough to have a successful relationship?

I'm finding my girlfriend a bit argumentaive, never met someone like her before; she seems to snap at the slightest thing.
She gets all a$$y at me for just mis-reading a text or something about something unimportant as though she's wound too tightly.
To me this isn't normal but if anyone can explain the female mind slightly it'd be great.

ok i broke up with my boyfriend a couple days ago. the reason i broke up with him was because he was so annoying and i was getting sick of it. he would always poke me and stuff like that. my ? is: is it wrong that i broke up with him just for that? he told my brother that the only reason he is so annoying is because he is an only child. that is the only reason i feel bad though.

There's a girl in my class who I used to talk to and I also used to like her but I feel like she really hates me now and I'm thinking about ignoring her from now on....She's really trying to express this hate to me and tries to comment on things I do. This girl i like very much is planning 2 go 2 Africa with a few of her friends 2 go and do some volunteer work and they need a guy 2 go along with them. The thing is i'm thinking of going but not only 2 volunteer;i'm hoping that it would bring us closer as friends cause this friendship didnt start on the right foot.
