This girl i like very much is planning 2 go 2 Africa with a few of her friends 2 go and do some volunteer work and they need a guy 2 go along with them. The thing is i'm thinking of going but not only 2 volunteer;i'm hoping that it would bring us closer as friends cause this friendship didnt start on the right foot. Also i'm not sure but i think she knows that i like her.I don't have a problem with going to Africa. Is it still a good idea?

If you really want to be volunteer, I think that's wonderful. However, I don't think I'd suggest going JUST to be around her. The important thing is to be yourself. Volunteering (willingly) shows her what kind of person you and does present a good opportunity to get to know her a little better. I say as long as you volunteering for the right reasons, you should go.

you have to think what the risks of going are first look things up on climate, common diseases, and the living conditions of where you will be staying and then decide if it's still worth it. I think that it would be and maybe you'll get a new girlfriend out of it! And volunteer work is totally worth it too. I say go.

Go if you want, but, realize that you will be very busy. I really think it's wonderful to volunteer, I just wish your heart was in the volunteering as well as the girl.

GO! Are you kidding me? You have to go. The volunteering aspect will change your life and travel is good for the soul. Getting to spend time around the girl is a bonus. Very good idea, get your passport ready and get your immunizations.

Why not life is about taking risks, u'll get a chance to see part of the world and help people who need it plus u might get a girlfriend out of it and even if u dont u'll still have a good friend

you should totally go for it if she into that stuff like volunteering she'll probably like you more if you go and get to know her but try not to make mistakes like sleeping with her if she not herself (drunk, high) go for it
