why not? everybody has endearing qualities and intellect is certainly one of them... if you're already connected on an intellectual level the rest will follow naturally... good luck...

Yes, not me personally because I have to be physically attracted to someone to fall for them, but I often wonder why some women marry hideous older men, and I think it is because they admire their intellect and what they have achieve. You only have to think about Charlie Chaplin and Hugh Hefner to realise that if women do like them it not on a physical level, but for other reasons like having lots of cash, or for being very intelligent in the case of Steven Hawkin who has motor neurons disease,but he has still managed to get married.

falling in love is usually followed by attraction then by frequently relating between partners. It's psychological and implicit. I haven't noticed anyone falling in love on an inellectual level

hell yes!!!
sometimes is the most exciting kind of love....
sometimes it doesnt work out
sometimes it doesnt go anywhere.
othere times it's perfect.... that's my experience. but yes you can fall in love with someone on an intellectual level :D

Yes. If you can intellectually fall in love..than you can sure as well count your blessings... love in all other areas will prevail.

yes. people do it all the time, look at 2 guys that are drinking beer and eating peanuts in a bar together one minute, and the next thing you no they start the biggest custom motorcycle bizz in the world, and make a ton of money together. now that's love.

you sur ecan..that's what makes the relationship continue to go.
lust, sexual love, and whatnot will only last so long..so intellectual goes along way.
i love people who keep my mind sharp and whatnot..

As long as you aren't repulsed by them otherwise, yes. Physical attraction can grow, mental attraction is either there or it isn't.
