iv known my boyfriend for just over 2 months now but because he lives about 18 miles away, he says he can only see me once a week (because of college/work)
whenever we are together were both pretty shy around each other and i think the only way this is going to stop is by spending more time with each other which is quite hard when i only see him once a week
we both love each other and he is a really decent guy so i want to do everything i can for this relationship, but do you think only seeing him once a week is enough to have a successful relationship?

btw iv told him it makes me upset and he said that he misses me like crazy aswell but i can only see him on saturdays and that its one of things where "absence makes the heart grow fonder"

it could work if u both trust each other when u r apart.
the most important thing is not to rush the relationship. it will happen, no matter what, if it's meant to be.

You need to see each other more than once a week for it to work.

I think it could work, I live so far away from my boyfriend and it kills me knowing I cant have a hug when ive had a bad day or go out with him on a night. I think your relationship has to be really strong and you have to trust your bf/gf if it going to work.

er... 18 miles isn't really that far... many people are in relationships with people much further and they see each other far more frequently... have a chat with him and explain how you feel and that you want to see him more... but to be quite frank, if he really likes you, i can't understand why he wouldn't want to see you at every possible opportunity... good luck..
