My very first girlfriend I ever had called me over the summer and left a message on my answering machine cause I was out of town at the time. We dated over 27 yrs ago, and it seems like every 5 to 10 yrs she calls me. The last time I saw her she started seeing my best friend at the time and ended up marrying him. I didn't want to see her then and we left other than friendly. that was 15 yrs ago. On her message she didn't even say her name she just said it was Bobbies wife, but I knew her voice.
Why after all of these yrs does she have to call??

It is not uncommon for wives who don't work outside the home and haven't for years to stay tied to their husbands who provide for them and their child. There is a certain level of comfort in being a housewife. It is not uncommon for such people to sleep in separate bedrooms and have their own life but yet connect as a family. I can imagine a woman who is accustomed to being supported will have a difficult time with a separation. She imagines her salary at starting an entry level job would cause her to be "less of a generous mother" because the time she devotes to her son/house would then be compromised by a job. She would have to get a smaller house. Currently, with her husband a man she don't love and realizes she never did thus feeling trapped into the "desire" to make the family appear okay for the sake of the kids. Just looking for some constructive input on this matter?

I have been dating my girlfriend for six months, I want to take things further and I'm pretty sure she does too. My bf abused me in june coz he saw me dancing with another guy. He broke up n told me im a cheap gurl along with abuses . then he stopped contacting me. But after a month he started contacting through text mesgs. Again not very pleasant mesgs. but now on 14th nov he again abused me as he kept asking me through text mesgs if i had gone on a date with another guy. yesterday was my girls birthday she had a party and i surprised her by getting her a huge cupcake(it was pretty big) and then it had her real gift inside(a ring it costs me like 35 dollars though) so then we made out the whole party but i told my friend and he said it was corny..

i have been emotionally hit.
1) i've liked this guy since about a year or so, and of course i told to the person i trust that i like him. but then i found out that one of my once trusted friend start to go everywhere with the guy i like. how could she? everywhere she goes, she'll go with him
2)after that incident, i like another guy, and he's the most gorgeous guy ive ever seen. i told my best friend about that and i found out that she also has a secret crush on him. she told me, in the time when i really fell in love with that guy,that she felt hurt if i tell stories about my good day with my crush. and so i gave her up. i dont want to loose a friend by a guy. i told her that she could like him back if she wants.
3) i feel i cannot believe what am i doing. i let him go for my friend, but i want him back. but i couldnt coz, in one more week, he;s gonna leave to his own country forever. and that really hurts me!!
i hope u guys understand me. my mind isn't clear enough to explain.
