I like this guy... and I think he likes me. I try to act confident, and people think that I am confident, but I really am not:( I think he might ask me out if he found out I liked him though. Do you think if i got a few of my friends to spread a rumor that I liked him he would ask me out? Thanks:)

Hi Annie, Why not just go up to him, and start talking. Give a few minutes, and then ask him if he would like to go to a movie with you this weekend. There's nothing wrong in a girl asking a guy out. In fact some guys really like to have a girl ask first. Have fun, and enjoy your time with him. A Friend.

I think if you just flirt with him he should hopefully get the hint that you like him. That's just what I would do because it's easy to tell when someone id flirting with you.

Not only that but I would feel awkward if there was a rumor that someone liked me, but they never really acted on it. So basically you have to show him that you like him, don't depend on a rumor to tell him this.

Or maybe he'd just punch your friends in the face. So you're putting on the confident face, so keep going with it. Tell him that he's coming with you on saturday night to have some coffee at the coffee shop.

No. Not a good idea. Go to him directly and ask him to do something with you. If he does, he likes you. If he doesn't, he probably doesn't like you. Best to keep it between the two of you. Plus, good relationships are built on communication and if you can't even tell him you like him yourself, it's not a solid foundation.

Yeah using the rumor mill is always a bad idea. Just go and tell him yourself.

leave your friends out of this in case you are embarrassed. Keep up the act, and ask him if he would like to ask you out.

Instead of the elaborate espionage, you could just... go crazy and ask him out instead.

I know you're not courageous, but.... take the day off from being shy for once.

Just do it.
