Singles & Dating - 28 November 2006

Me and the guy I've been dating had a conversation last night and I needed other people's opinion on it, just to be clear. He asked me to never lie to him and to always be truthful with him. He said that isn't something that he says to just anybody and I asked him why was he saying it to me. He said that I asked a very good question but that I should be appreciative that he chose to say it to me.

Should I take that as in he is considering getting serious with me or how should I view that situation?

It turns out that he is 25 years older than me.
However I still think he is gorgeous.
I also found out he was lightweight boxing champ in '82.
My friends are sceptical !!
I still haven't really spoken to him but now that I know the age difference I am even more nervous about that.

What do you all think is an acceptable age gap.
Are you with anyone older or younger?
Does it bother you?

Why does she behave like that?
Recently, this girl I like behaved strangely. She is shy in front of me. When I asked her a question, she sometimes did not dare to look and did not dare to talk. I feel it is weird.

I previously told her my feeling but she said she just wanted to be friends. Still, it was one month ago and her behaviour has just changed in these few days.

Why?

if a guy has been seeing a girl really casually, would he be scared to ask her out on a date if he knew that she had came out of a serious 6 year relationship with her fiance 8 months ago?even tho he knew she ended it?

Well she rejected me. But for some reason has decided that she has made a mistake. At the time is was quite hurt by the rejection.
She keeps emailing me and txting me and I have been doing a bit of negative selling of my self. Saying stuff like she dosent even fancy me..... And that I hope that I will find someone as lovely as her to go out with me.

Is it wrong to play with her feelings in this way....? I do really like her but feel that she hurt me first and a little payback is in order.....

I am currently dating a girlf for the past 4 months who just broke up with a boyfreind of 3 years. He is trying to come back but she tells me she wants to be with me but is still attached. Last night i told her i felt that we needed space so she can solve her attachment issues but she planned that we just date and take it slow till she gets over him. most males seem to have lost the plot and are downtrodden miserable rude people and are shells of their ancestors...and most women are twittering and empty headed or so set on competing with men that they too have lost the true womanhood that they should own...

a real man or woman really stands apart now...thats a shame because both sexes have so much to offer but generally there seems to be a load of people just drudging their way through life ...do you agree? why do you think this is...i have my own reasons and explanations but im interested in what other people think too...;0)

well just about two weeks ago my girlfriend & I had an argument
