men are just as capable of loyalty and fidelity as women are, youre obviously just dating the idiots.

Yes, I find that statement to be very true. When a guy cheats he is either doing what all men do or can not be redeemed, but a woman cheats and its all about how she was not getting her needs meet or the guy was no good. I am sick and tired of the steroetypes. Women cheat just as much as men. We don't have the market cornered on this behavior. So lets stop the madness!

It's actually in our nature to want to cheat. A recent study was done on animals and something like 96% of the males in the animal kingdom want to spread their genetics around. Men have a very strong urge to bang lots of women and it's difficult to stop from doing this. While women have a need to get a suitable mate and hold on to him for security. So when a guy cheats it's genetics. When a girl cheats she's just being a ho.

This points to some genetic predisposition to have multiple simultaneous partners. I suspect this predisposition is on a continuum. Some people strongly lean toward monogamy, others multi person relationships, still others somewhere in the middle. Strangely enough, even though these groups are much more honest about their actions and get permission or participation from partners, they are more reviled than people who cheat.
I know this from personal experience. I am polyamorous. I've lost friends from people I came out to. One friend I lost was one who cheated on her husband multiple times, but the fact that I was poly, that I cleared who I dated with my wife rather than cheating, was not something she could take.
I've also found that most people are more willing to cheat with you than act openly. I've a few women I am sure would sleep with me if I didn't have the requirement of telling my wife and getting her ok. My wife has run into the same thing with guys.

Men can be incapable of loyalty because there are to many other women offering it on a plate!.(i'm lucky to have the guy i have) But, the man can always say no, but they feel flattered easily and love the womans attention....so therefore, it's prolly just a sex thing. Many women let their emotions get involved, and feel that the man involved really likes them, and not realise they are just using them. So guys.behave yourselves!.and women.....leave other womens men alone!!!!

I'm glad you didn't use the word 'all' in your question and although I can't defend those men who are incapable as charged, disloyalty is a problem across both genders.
Every time you open a Sunday newspaper the 'kiss and tell' stories are proof enough.

Because men have a completly different thought process. My boyfriend kinda cheated on me and I forgave him. I had a guys number in my purse (while we were broken up and talking about getting back together) and that almost caused him not to get back with me. It's very frustrating how guys are able to get away with so much but if a women does the slightest thing, we're dead meat....MEN...can't live with em'....

I actually know many more women who cheat than men. Since women say their primary reason for sex is intimacy and not the sex act itself, perhaps it is the greater of the evils. In either case both sides are wrong and it is extremely destructive of the relationship.

This is one of the things that separates the boys from the men and the girls from the ladies. Real men and ladies can be loyal. They have integrity.
Boys and girls are selfish. Whether it's the male or the female cheating, it's the same story and it's wrong.

I think everyone on this earth is capable of *cheating*. We do it with our eyes, we do it in our fantasies, we do it in many different ways, and some of us do it by actually having sex with someone who is not our *mate*.. Oh well, that's life. Accept it! We are all animals and we are not *meant* to be with just one person, I have finally learned that. The only animals that like to mate for life are penguins ( i think)..and that's it.

No it isn't... It's the EXACT same thing... If anyone says differently they are lying.. And it's not all men that are incapable of being loyal just the ones that aren't happy of satisfied... :)
