Tell him you aren't into him anymore. For some reason women think to themselves "I don't want to be mean and hurt his feelings by being honest, so I'll just ignore him and hope he gets the message." That's not the nice way to do it. That's the "It's uncomfortable to face him so I'll lead him on until he figures it out" selfish way to do it.

don't be offended yet perchance your bf respects you as someone. Bfs usually marry females that they respect. For such issues as elevating little ones, helping deal with the hshd, attending PT-conferences, etc.
