My boyfriend recently told me he still feels messed up by what happened with an ex-girldfirend, but he also said he wants to give things a go with me still. Now I'm worried that he's suddenly gong to change his mind because he can't get over his ex. What should I do?

I think you should respect the fact that he opened up to you about something that obviously hurt him very deeply, and I think that he does care for you and wants to really try to give you all a chance,,,,but in doing so,,,you will have to be careful,,,because he still apparently has alot of ill feelings about his ex and I don't believe that it is because he still loves her or wants her back, I think it is because he got hurt, and doesn't want to get hurt again,,,and you will have to take heed to that when you find or discover things that you don't like or want to change,,,,and I bet trust is going to be a big issue with him,,,,

Let him see that it is ok to love and feel again,,,make him want to don't expect him to ,,,, you are going to have to teach him to trust and love again, and show him that he is ok and worthy of being loved, and that you will be their for him and and wont hurt him and that you are not his ex!!!! Don't compare yourself to her,,,,and try not to let him compare you two either,,,,,let him see you for you,,,,and you loove him for HIM!!!!!

Don't be scared,,,life and love are chances,,,,you never know what is going to happen,,,and you are only the person you want to be,,,,show him how you feel and show him how much you appreciate him everyday,,,,,feeling like someone appreciates you sometimes is a real nice thing,,, don't be scared to love,,,,,,

I hope i have hepled you a little bit
GOOD LUCK

I would give him his space. Its hard getting over someone. He needs time to figure out if he still has feelings for his ex or if he has feelings for you. Love is a confusing thing and you will be better off in the long run if he figures out his feelings now rather than later.

If it were me , I'd keep it very lighthearted and fun, not get in to deep , until you are sure he is sure about his emotions and feelings. Things have a way of working themselves out if you don't rush.

I would wait about a month or two and see what the outcome will be. Play it cool kid and good luck to both of you.

if a person was in love it takes time to get over that, all you need to do is shore him that life goes on. and you can make him happy too, be understanding.I know is not easy. he loves you but he does not know if you love him

I don't think he really wants to move on yet maybe he needs more time with himself.
