Me and the guy I've been dating had a conversation last night and I needed other people's opinion on it, just to be clear. He asked me to never lie to him and to always be truthful with him. He said that isn't something that he says to just anybody and I asked him why was he saying it to me. He said that I asked a very good question but that I should be appreciative that he chose to say it to me.
Should I take that as in he is considering getting serious with me or how should I view that situation?

sure hes getting serious with u , but at the same time i think in the long run u r going to find out that hes a very suspicious person . i am afraid u can be having some bad times with him if u r not care full.
i think u don't have to say this to others but u have to command sincerity in ur relation

he is just being real with ya.
he has probably been lied to a lot of times by the past females he has dated, so you have to prove to him that you are trustworthy.
remember, respect and trust is not something you cannot get, but something you must earn.
just be real and be honest. if you think your gonna lie to him, then he is too good for you.
