I have known this girl for two years, she’s 34 and I’m 30. She lives about an hour away. We went out a couple of times awhile back. First time she had an old friend get in the way, and they pursued a relationship. The second time she indicated that if I lived closer she would pursue a relationship but didn't want a long distance relationship. I told her I wanted to pursue it but she resisted, citing the distance thing. We kept in touch and emailed almost daily, pretty much excessively as many as 20 times a day (considering we both have office jobs, that wass pushing it I think). About 3 months ago I told her (casually) that I was seeing somebody. She immediately suggested that she was coming to my town and wanted to hang out for awhile. We did. She asked how things were going with the g/f, and I told her they were ok and that we were reaching the make or break point of the relationship. I asked her if she was seeing somebody, and she hesitated (what does the hesitation mean) before saying that she had been seeing somebody for a year. I told her I was happy for her. We had a nice innocent time together. On that following Monday I emailed her and said that I was happy for her that things were going well for her. It’s been a month and she hasn’t really kept in touch AT ALL, not like she used to. Any ideas on what her intentions were and what the heck she is thinking now? Thanks gals, I appreiciate it.

I got completely obliterated one night and my boyfriend trusted my best friend to take me home(he was sober) I apparently slept with him although I have no memory of it what so ever! I dont even remember flirting with him... My friend knows I would never have cheated on my boyfriend if I were sober or even slightly drunk... what do I do? Do I tell my man, even though I know he will stay with me, it will just cause 1000 problems or do I act like it never happend because to me it didnt since I dont remember it.. now that I know my limits and cant trust my closest friend, i know it will never happen again, but do i continue to feel guilty over this? I would tell him if I did it willingly but this was definetely a different circumstance- I am not even attracted to my friend- is this situation still "cheating"?

i really like one of my good friends. i've known him since i was like six.

we've been on-again-off-again "talking" for a while.

well at the end of may this year we were really close to dating. but then we both said some stupid things and it wasn't the right time.

well he was dating this girl at the beginning of the new school year. she broke up with him this week for one of his friends.

i want to tell him how sorry i am for him but i don't want it to seem like i was waiting for it to happen or that i'm glad. i'm not at all. i feel really horrible for him. i just want to be a good friend.

so do i tell him how sorry i am now?

or do i wait a while for things to calm down a little?

so heres the deal, i met this guy about a year ago. when i met him, me & my ex-boyfriend were going through some rough times (meaning he cheated on me NUMEROUS times & like a fool i tried to make it work between us), so the guy that i met, was so sweet. i had started to develop feelings for him but because of the fact me & my ex were trying to "work it out", i never gave him a real chance. eventually we lost touch. THEN there was a girl i met through friends, that i hung out with a few times, talk to every once in awhile just on instant messanger and things like that. being that i live in such a small town, she also met this guy before. she gave him a bigger chance then me, and they have messed around & she hangs out with him from time too time. i ended up seeing him again, and our conversations started up again. he gives me butterflies & i could stay on the phone with him for HOURS..so..would i be wrong for going out on a date with him? since i know about this other girl?

There's a woman I work with, whom I really like, and I've let her know I really like her. At work, she's as friendly as can be, and she confides in me about personal matters. But she's had my number for a month now and never calls me, and she gave me her numbers a couple of weeks ago, but I've called twice, and only get her voice mail, and she doesn't return my calls. She always has a reason at work, like she was afraid it was too late, etc. but I just don't get it.

It used to be that the man asked the woman out, but now the woman has to ask the man out. Men just sit back and relax while women do the work. I guess that is why I am single. I am just waiting for an assertive man. According to my friends and family, they say I have to go fishing and catch one and reel him in. Me and my friends like to chill alot and recently we were just talking about the many girls they've dated over the years, seeing as I haven't had a girlfriend yet cause I'm kinda shy around girls. his name i shall not say...i told him how i felt about him and he told me that he only liked me as a friend...i accepted that.until he started dating this nasty girl and then he started flirting with me by touching me everywhere and sitting and talking to me every chance he gets.part of me thinks he is trying to hide his relationship from me as if he's affraid to hurt me. it is as if he feels our friendship with his hands instead of his heart. i am so confused and hurt.

okay im like way in over my head crazy about this guy at school he is in my math class he was on the wrestling team that i manage and he was on the varsity football team. he is very nice and not a jock jerk i really want to tell him i like him before my 17 b-day in one week the thing is i can't tell him during math class cause he is around all his friends and i don't want to embarrase him and that is like the only time i see him i could get a note or something on his car!!!! i don't have his phone number so i just don't know what to do!!!!!!! i have thought of a million different ways but im having a little trouble chosing one there are no words to express how much i like him i really want to tell him in the most descreate way possible like a note or something but i also want him to know how much i care for him!?!?!?! please help!!!!!!!!!!!!Thanks

well i had this sort of boyfriend for awhile it was kinda long distnace but he started putting less and less effort in as it went along. ireally loved himt ho, ive never felt love like that. weve finally broke contact, he moved up north after a fight we had and said he didnt wanna worry about anyone down here...so i stopped calling and its been 2 weeks. i keep havin dreams about him tho one was really vivid he was kissing me and i was saying i missed hima nd he said me too..and then he was like i have a gf tho, her name is somethin, and i was like are u lieing and he said yes i said why and he said cuz i dont want to be together...we cant right now. what should i think about that? i dont think ive ever felt love this deep. i had it bad for him and its just not going away, i dont want anyone else but him.. he said hed call when he had a break from work. do u think if he doesnt by a couple weeks that i should??
