My boyfriend and I moved in together after just a few months of dating. That was three years ago. We both have things to work on - mainly I need to take better care of myself and stop being such a slob. He wants to move apart for a while because he says our relationship isn't healthy (it isn't), but he still wants to date. So do I. And he says when things get better, we can move back in together. He's not the type to just say what I want to hear. I want to have a good relationship with him, but I'm hoping he's just not trying to keep from hurting me. How should I handle this?

so im 16 and my closest friends (theyre 15 and 16) always tease me about how i dont have a bf yet. they both always hit on guys and say how theyre so hot and say how they LOVE one of them then get heartbroken when they find out the guy didnt like them back or even knew they existed or has a girlfriend. right now im more focused on my school and i feel like i got more important things to do right now? dont get me wrong i like guys and ive had crushes and have really close guy friends that say they like me and wanna go out and stuff like that and i have. my question is, should i try to be MORE focused on the whole "guy thing" at my age and go out on dates more? my girl-friends always ask me "who do you like" or "he was hot huh" and i feel uncomfortble now cuz they always set me up with guys or pressure me to LIKE someone n i just dont feel like i should be forced to have crush ALL THE TIME. plz gimme a honest piece of advice.

I've been dating this guy for 9 months, and he's the best boyfriend I've ever had. He used to tell me that he loved me all the time, now it's just on the phone. When we're out together, I sometimes catch him looking at other girls. Lately, he's had this tone in his voice when he talks to me. I know you girls know what I'm talking about. It's like something is bothering him, and I don't know if that something concerns me, or if it's something in general that's bothering him. I ask him to talk to me, and then he gets all defensive when I try to help him. So, what's the deal? Why does he get mad at me when I try to help and when I don't try? Why does he only tell me that he loves me on the phone? Why does he not hold me in public anymore? We used to put our arms around each other when we're in WalMart or something like that but now, we're lucky to even hold hands. The other night we faught he ended up in tears, I acted like the fight didn't phase me. Why did I do that? How can I fix this?

I go with this girl and we have been goin out for 5 months now. And treat her like a queen, i think i do almost everything that she wants me to. Our relationship has been REALLY weird from the start. We have tried to talk about it, and she inevitably just freezes, never really telling me everything going on. There are definitely very substantial, strong feelings for one another, but some very real blocks to her personality. I don't want to push anything b/c my mind has filled my head with some pretty extreme theories about what is going on. I have been doing some reading, and I swear she shows at least some signs of being bipolar. But like I said, she won't talk about it, though she had mentioned once that she had seen a counselor and been on medication, but for what I don't know. Anyways, I love this woman, and I at least want to know what is really going on. Can I ask or suggest what I have here to her somehow?

I love my boyfriend. When we're together he's very attentive, complimentary and loving. My prob stems from when we're not together and the activities he's involved with.

I began to be jealous of one girl he was talking with on IM. He was "helping her" with a breakup and her self esteem issues. I developed some red hot anger over this because we'd never gone thru something like that before. In the heat of my anger, I installed spy software on his computer and now find that he's an online flirt.

He never initiates a meeting but likes to look at pics and is VERY complimentary about what he sees. In one case, the girl he was talking to asked about a gf. He admitted that he had one and now I notice he doesn't talk to her anymore.

He and I have talked about it and he assures me that nothing is going on.

Do I just look the other way and chalk it up to harmless flirting or does this usually lead to more?
