Singles & Dating - 21 November 2006

I just started college, and I haven't really bonded wiith any particular group of friends yet. I am always alone, and living in the dormitories can be quite depressing with no friends to keep you company. I've tried joining clubs, talking more, smiling and communicating, but that clearly doen't work! Everytime I meet someone, they either make it awkward for me, or lose interest in me after about a week. What should be done. I want my four years of college to be fun and worth while. Even though I am a quiet person, I still yearn for the fun and exitement that comes with being in college. Right now, Im really sad and I need some serious advice!

i havent been invited to this girls party in my sixthform year, my friends hav and feel a bit left out. i stupidly asked the girl if i could come cause im not used to this party experience thing and said sorry afterwards cause i thought it was a bit off for me to do that but also feel like shes tellin every that i asked her, i've jus started this school and feel like everythings a mess already. i feel like girls get intimidated to talk to me cause im asian and brown and thats why i dont get invited. i need advise on how to handle this and feel so stupid for askin he in the first place. help please!!

Well i was in school and i have this welt on my neck from a bug bite, so people kept thinking it was a hicky. I cracked at one pint and said " I don't have someone to give me a hicky, ive only had three boyfriends in my life and none of which gave me a hicky, OK" apparently your not supposed to say that kind of thing in highschool because they sat there staring jawdropped, a lot of people too. Me and my boyfriend did it watching poorn the other day but honestly it bothered me i don tsee why he wanted to watch it while doing it. he has me. i got a lil mad at it. why does he want to see two girls on top of each other while we do it? im confused. he said he likes it but i dont. is it a sign or am i just being dumb? i dont know. i dont want to watch it while doing it. i already talked to him about it, he said he'll stop but it aint the same knowing he likes that. i told him its like me wanting to look at another guys body and magic stick while we do it cuz his is better. ive noticed that spanish/latinos are more open minded when it comes to dating outside their own race.
I personally would like to date outside my race (im latino) but for some reason it never happens.
Im from new york and white women here are very stuck up and want to date the rich guys ,white guys or even asians.
Do you think they are just being racist or they are just shallow?

I have one friend in the world. I met him online. He tells me he loves me. But he has a wife he hasn't divorced, and an ex gf whom he keeps giving money to on his credit card.
He's telling me the only way we can rid her of our lives is to take on the responsibility of paying off her debt.
I will be in school tell Feb. NOW If I move out to his state and we live together and we try and make a life together, and IF I'm helping pay off of his ex's debt she got to have fun with of thousands, DO I or DONT I have the right to know all about it, not a story here and a story there!!!

In your opinion, what's the best way to give a ring as a gift to your girlfriend without her thinking you're proposing? It's meant for her right ring finger, but I don't want her to get the wrong impression and think I'm moving too fast, or worse think I'm proposing and saying "Yes".

Ok as brother and sister growing up we have seen each other naked alot when we were real young, we still share a hall bathroom together, and recently my brother has been wearing these boxer shorts and walking from the bathroom to his room naked! I think that I ahve developed a problem. I think I lost who I was a while back, and I turned to sex to try to figure out what i want. Now I look at myself in the mirror every morning, and I hate the person that I see. The last time I had sex there was mirror. I saw myself, my legs were wrapped around him, and I mouthed the word slut to myself over and over again. I've said it enough times to convince myself that that is what I really am. Though then a new guy comes along, and then we have sex. Then the whole process starts over again. I ask myself why I give myself up so easily. There has been 4 sexual partners in 2 months. Then when I get close to getting into a relationship, I end up running. I'm not into casual sex. I do not approve of it, though that is hypocritical to say. Because it seems that every friday I seem to go out, and have sex with another guy. What is wrong with me?

I have been out with a guy 5-6 times, nothing serious at this time, and he's having his 48th birthday next week. I have no idea what to get him. First of all, he hates having birthdays, he works out 5-6 days a week, attends church every Sunday and loves to travel. He is also very wealthy (point being that he has everything he wants and/or needs).

He is also a very caring, very sensitive man. I would like to keep the gift very sweet and simple. I would appreciate any ideas.
