I have been out with a guy 5-6 times, nothing serious at this time, and he's having his 48th birthday next week. I have no idea what to get him. First of all, he hates having birthdays, he works out 5-6 days a week, attends church every Sunday and loves to travel. He is also very wealthy (point being that he has everything he wants and/or needs).

He is also a very caring, very sensitive man. I would like to keep the gift very sweet and simple. I would appreciate any ideas.

I would prefer an exclusive bottle of wine. Need advise? www.georgianwinehouse.com They would send to your/his home a gift box with absoultely exclusive wine. You friend will forget about cali, french or any other wines forever.

hmmm

how about a nice leather bound bible case

or a sweat towel for when he works out (nike makes some nice ones that you can find in outdoor world in the golf section)

or a nice bottle of cologne - for his age would go with like preferred stock or perry ellis

or you could get him a nice bottle of wine - just because he goes to church weekly doesnt mean that he wouldnt enjoy sitting down and having a drink with you

Something simple, like a romantic evening out on the town (dinner, walk in the park, etc.). Just spend the time with him and I'm sure he'll appreciate it.
