need help from the adult ladies out there, it would be greatly appreciated. I need to know how to read this situation so I don’t make an a** of myself tomorrow (I’m 30, and this girl is 34, neither of us have ever been married). I went out with this girl twice, the last time was a year and a half ago. The first time we went out things went ok and we made plans to go out again. Then one of her longtime friends got in the way and they began seeing each other. She lives one hour away from me so it would have been a long distance relationship. She broke up with him a few months later. We went out again shortly thereafter. I went to see her. At the end of the date, she said that she would have to come down to see me next time. she had indicated previously that the distance turns her off because she has to drive 45 minutes everyday to work and that was what was precluding her from starting a relationship with me.. It’s really complicated, but like an idiot I never asked her down because I kept coming back to the “she doesn’t like the distance thing so she isn’t really interested”. I didn’t want to have to deal with the rejection because she is an awesome girl and I could have seen myself falling hard for her and then end up hurt. If I missed my chance with her I’ll never forgive myself. Here’s the thing. We’ve kept in touch consistently for the last year and a half and email nearly daily (sometimes to the point of excessive since we are both at work!). Sometimes about absolutely nothing at all, but other times about life and what’s happening in each of our lives. Over this time I’ve begun to realize that I have some serious feelings for her, like she might be THE ONE. Back in January I realized this and I asked her out to lunch but she said that she had started seeing someone and “didn’t think it would be fair for all of us involved” to get together. So we went on like usual. I casually mentioned to her about a month ago that I had started seeing somebody (I’m not anymore but she doesn’t know that), and she immediately responded by suggesting that we needed to get together sometime. She is planning on coming down to my town to do some shopping and wanted to get together with me afterwards. Today, she mentioned that she’d like to switch up the schedule though, that she wants to see me first then do the shopping later. Can you give me your interpretation of the situation? Am I in the dreaded “friend zone” or is there a chance she is waiting to see my reaction and if I still have interest? I need the female perspective. Thanks in advance for your help, I am an absolutely pathetic mess.

I met the guy at work and we are both pretty attracted -he wants to go out for an official date- this is the difficulty- regularly I wear skirts- but not at work bec of company policy- so he doesnt know I wear them. Should I just compromise and show up in jeans or tell him first just so that he knows, or just show up in skirt...i know it sounds retarded but pls just help....and its not mini skirts either in case you are wondering...

My boyfriend and I have been together for 3 months... he slept with this girl once a while ago, and just now she came up to him, and told him she's pregnant!! she's 5 months, but it's not 100% sure that's his, because she slept with other men around the same time too..but claims he was the last one (Which I personally dont think that detail matters) Anyhow, he's willing to help her, but wont take full charge of it, till the baby is born, and a test proves its true.
im trying to have his back, (cause we still weren't dating when it happen) .. but it's so hard! sometimes i dont even know what to say to him, when we talk about it... PLEASE HELP ME... i need advices!!

Ok so I'm 17 and towards the end of last school year(like April/May) I was trying to go out with this girl(she's a grade younger). We knew each other from school but not that well. She lives a couple blocks away so I randomly went over one day and we went for a walk around the lake and we had a good time. The next week I asked her to hang out and she said yea and she gave me her number. But when i called she said she was busy and I tried twice more in the following weeks but I was out of luck. I never really understood what went wrong, I thought she was into me but then she seemed to just shut off. Anyway, I've started to have a crush on her again and I want to give it another shot, but I'm not sure what to do. I mean, if she liked me then she had her chance so maybe there's no point. And I wouldn't want to ask her again and then have to go through the same charades as last year. Any advice?

i went to my boyfriend's house the other night. while he was taking a shower he received a text message from a girl. i know i shouldn't have - but i read it. i was surprised to find that it was his ex girlfriend. i continued reading the other messages in his phone that were to her. i found ones like this .... "we don't have to have sex if you don't want to", "what are you talking about sex is not what i want from you" "well i thought we could try again" "i've been wanting you for a long time now" when he got out of the shower i asked him why he had sent these messages to sarah (old girlfriend that HE broke up with) he was calm, never got angry or anything he just said that he broke up with her because she got pregnant and told everyone that she was pregnant with his child. he said that ever since they broke up she calls to see if they can get back together. and he said that those messages he sent to her the night before was just to give her false hope. he said he was seeking revenge.
