...from a LONG time ago. Don't worry, I'm over it (the fact that he was a jerk and that 7 years has passed has more than given me time to get over him, so don't even accuse me!)! I just have a question on what your opinion is. He used to talk about his ex to me all the time and about how she hurt him. I was young and dumb and I guess I didn't care cause if a guy did that now, I'd be super pissed. So what is your opinion about a guy that talks about his ex all the time to his current gf?? Rebound??

I need help from the adult ladies out there, it would be greatly appreciated. I need to know how to read this situation so I don’t make an a** of myself tomorrow (I’m 30, and this girl is 34, neither of us have ever been married). I went out with this girl twice, the last time was a year and a half ago. The first time we went out things went ok and we made plans to go out again. Then one of her longtime friends got in the way and they began seeing each other. She lives one hour away from me so it would have been a long distance relationship. She broke up with him a few months later. We went out again shortly thereafter. I went to see her. At the end of the date, she said that she would have to come down to see me next time. she had indicated previously that the distance turns her off because she has to drive 45 minutes everyday to work and that was what was precluding her from starting a relationship with me.. It’s really complicated, but like an idiot I never asked her down because I kept coming back to the “she doesn’t like the distance thing so she isn’t really interested”. I didn’t want to have to deal with the rejection because she is an awesome girl and I could have seen myself falling hard for her and then end up hurt. If I missed my chance with her I’ll never forgive myself. Here’s the thing. We’ve kept in touch consistently for the last year and a half and email nearly daily (sometimes to the point of excessive since we are both at work!). Sometimes about absolutely nothing at all, but other times about life and what’s happening in each of our lives. Over this time I’ve begun to realize that I have some serious feelings for her, like she might be THE ONE. Back in January I realized this and I asked her out to lunch but she said that she had started seeing someone and “didn’t think it would be fair for all of us involved” to get together. So we went on like usual. I casually mentioned to her about a month ago that I had started seeing somebody (I’m not anymore but she doesn’t know that), and she immediately responded by suggesting that we needed to get together sometime. She is planning on coming down to my town to do some shopping and wanted to get together with me afterwards. Today, she mentioned that she’d like to switch up the schedule though, that she wants to see me first then do the shopping later. Can you give me your interpretation of the situation? Am I in the dreaded “friend zone” or is there a chance she is waiting to see my reaction and if I still have interest? I need the female perspective. Thanks in advance for your help, I am an absolutely pathetic mess.

I'm 13 (don't anyone dare give me the whole "you're too young" thing) and really like a boy that I've known scince grade two. We used to be BFFs but we've kind of seperated now that we go to different schoools, though he still lives in my neighbourhood. I want to ask him to a dance, but don't know how without making it awkward. We've always danced at the dances together before, but now my school is doing dances by themselves and so he doesn;t come. Okay, I love my girlfriend, and I love talking to her and hanging out with her. I have beat up 2 of my friends and another kid because of them saying she is ugly. All my friends make fun of her and hate her. To me, she is the most beautiful person I have ever met. I am not sure what to do though. OK, i don't want to sound like one of those girls that all she cares about is boys and her hair, because I'm not like that.

This guy who live on my street and takes the same bus as me, TJ, used to like me but i liked him as a friend and we have remained friends since, he tells me almost everything, like when his girlfriend broke up with him. Anyway, TJ has a friend Brandon. Today TJ, Brandon, and I were on the swings because some random teacher called us pathetic and lame when we were sitting on the bench during recess. So TJ left to take my friends mitten and Brandon said "you know TJ still likes you right?" and suprised, I said "What?" Anyway, TJ came back with my friends mitten and asked me if I was still going to DJ the Halloween dance and told me that it sucked because I couldn't dance at the dance. Then, later on the bus TJ told me that Brandon wanted to ask me to the dance and that that was why he was asking.

Help!!

Does TJ like me still? Or does Brandon?

ok the other day when i was at my b/f house his ex called and told me for the last couple of days at school during scince that they have been holdin hands and that he was tellin her that he loved her and that she was goin to brake up with her b/f this wkd to get back together with him and i started bawlin and ran into the bathromm and locked the door and started cryin he told her that everything was over an that he loved me. he broke down the bathroom door sat down beside me and told me that everything was all right and that it was all a joke to get back at her for when they was goin out and she cheated on him.i really dont know what to do.plz help

This is not out of my mouth but some dumb kook on here who goes by the profile name of "Diagofaldi" who gave me advice on my last few questions. Well, not only did his advice suck, he seems to be going for the wrong girls and he thinks he knows everything about what women want. He's probably nothing more than a spoiled / rich 25 year-old punk who still lives with his mommy in her $3,000,000 home in Del Mar. Anyway, girls, is what he said true? We've been together for almost 2 years, he's gotten lazy. He says he still loves me but he doesn't really do anything for me at all. He says he wants to spend the rest of his life with me still. Well 2 weeks ago i broke up with my boyfriend who i had been having a long distance relationshsip with for about 2 and a half month. I broke up with him because i just couldn't stand us being apart and not being able to see or be with everyday. Well anyways when i told him how i was feeling i told him that i thought we should be friends because i just wasn't feeling the same about the relationship but he told me that he couldn't be friends with the person he loved and that that was going to be the last time we would ever talk to each other. I was pretty bummed out because i thought we were going to be able to have a friendship after a certain time period but two nights ago i was about to go to bed and my phone rang and it was my ex boyfriend. I was so nervous that i just let it ring and didn't answer it not that i didn't wanna talk to him it's just that he told me he didn't want to be friends but yet here he was calling me. Why do u think he called me? Should i call him back?
