that's what you say now...you might have changed your tune had he asked you out instead of her. you never know.
just be the better person and a good friend and allow them to have a relationship. you dont always have to hang around them...Go look for someone who likes you and wants to ask YOU out.

I know this hurts you inside, but don't let it make you bitter or angry because there are too many other fine and great guys out there to be getting jealous and upset over one. Trust me sweetie no guy is worth you feeling this way. Your too special for that. When you meet the next guy you like you will see what i'm talking about. Be happy for your friend even though she got what you wanted. I know it seems like she doesn't care about your feelings where this is concerned, but she probably thought you wouldn't care. If your friend didn't know about you liking this guy then you really can't get upset with her, but even if she did know don't let it get to you. There are great guys out there, and it might just be a blessing that you didn't get him because the guy your supposed to be with is probably coming your way soon. Be positive and don't let these things pull you down no matter what.

Talk to your friend tell her how you feel. If she didn't know you liked the guy then maybe she just said yes because she didn't know you liked him too. Tell, her what you would say if he asked you out even when you knew how much you liked him, tell her you would have said no thanks because you care more about your friends. Ask her if she cares about you more or if she cares about her boyfriend more. Because I had this guy ask me out and he was my best friends ex, but she told me it was ok to go out with him but she was really mad the next day at school, so that night I dumped him because I cared more about my friends. If your friend doesn't dump him after she knows how you feel then she's not a real friend. Because a real friend would. No matter how much they like the guy. Because guys come and go but, true friends stay a lifetime!!

many girls are caught in this same situation. but I dont think you would have said no, you are just saying that b/c he didnt choose you. i know it maybe hard to get over that but you cant stand in their way, b/c he might really be the perfect guy for her and not you. as a good friend you need to see this as a battle lost, and congradulate her in her happiness

You are a good friend indeed! A very good guy will figure that out in the future and it will definitely be worth the wait.

You saw the opportunity but didn't take advantage of it. You can't be mad because someone else beat you to it, things will open up in time, but don't be waiting around for that to happen.

maybe she said yes because she liked him and would've expected you to do the same thing. she might have been thinking that if he asked you out, she would have wanted you to say yes, since you liked him. just be happy for her.
