Yes, indeed. Some gestures may require in in-depth show of appreciation going beyond a simple "Thank you". An unsolicited act of generosity, kindness or caring should be fully addressed.
If you went to some degree of trouble to make someones day would a simple "Thank you" spoken while checking if her nails were fully dried and a "Would you mind moving ? You are blocking the TV..." suffice?

Yes,but work from a purely selfish point of view - look up dog training sites- I am not joking but the the response will be the same-it works both ways but I would not use the electric collar.

Yes, as much as you should thank anyone for being nice. It's only polite, plus it's likely that they'll behave the same way which would hopefully make you feel better two. Double win.

definetly, why wouldn't you. You would thank someone insignificant if they opened a door for you, so why wouldn't you thank someone you love for doing something even more thoughfull for you. Do something small and nice for her too. Bring her a single rose and a big hug once in a while ( for me a single random rose with big hug is so much better than a dozen roses

Yes you should, thank her in the same way. Do little things for her to show her that you appreciate everything that she does for you.

Ask yourself this. Would you thank her for doing this for you. She is thinking about the other person whilst doing these things, a wee kiss or a nice smile and the word thank you is not a great deal to ask. she may not be looking for this but in the long term she may notice she is not being appreciated for being thoughtfull

of course you should, a woman needs to know that she is appreciated,no matter how small the gesture. its not something that you have to take overboard with, but when she does do sweet little things like that for you, you should thank her, and tell her its appreciated......i could only with my boyfriend was more appreciative.

Probably be better if you returned the favour by doing little things for her - mutual appreciation I find works absolute wonders. And you will probably hopefully enjoy doing it.
