Ok so I'm 17 and towards the end of last school year(like April/May) I was trying to go out with this girl(she's a grade younger). We knew each other from school but not that well. She lives a couple blocks away so I randomly went over one day and we went for a walk around the lake and we had a good time. The next week I asked her to hang out and she said yea and she gave me her number. But when i called she said she was busy and I tried twice more in the following weeks but I was out of luck. I never really understood what went wrong, I thought she was into me but then she seemed to just shut off. Anyway, I've started to have a crush on her again and I want to give it another shot, but I'm not sure what to do. I mean, if she liked me then she had her chance so maybe there's no point. And I wouldn't want to ask her again and then have to go through the same charades as last year. Any advice?

Hmm...
That's a hard one. It seems as if she blew you off last year. SO what's stopping her from doing it again? I would see how she reacts to you being around her and if you get that "get away from me" feeling, then it's probably time to move on. However, if you get the green light, go for it! You'll know if she's into you or not.

Leave well alone my Friend if the girl is younger she might be taking you for a ride so to speak and may be just like a young teenager with her first boyfriend (giddy) and has lost her nerve so back off and get on with your life.don't hang around and waste your time.at your age disappointment hurts your pride. do what you like doing before the girl came on the scene. Its like the book of life, another chapter and trust me there are millions of chapters.

Get to know her a little better first. I wouldn't say yes right away. Maybe spend some more time together as friends before asking again.

Here's a real answer (Im really sorry to break it to you, but you need to know the truth) Girls at that age (most not all) want everyman to have his eyes on her, they are insecure and want the attention so they have the habit of leading guys on and for no other reason but to know you like them, it makes them feel better about them selfs and gives them a story for the girls. Sorry Dude

Yeah you should. I have asked out the same guy MILLIONS of times and he has said no the whole time! I am still trying. If you really like her than ask her. She will always know how you felt even if she says no and she will think about it later.

you may be right, but she might be shy and wouldn't contact you if she did want to see you. i would try again and ask that she return your call, if someone else answered the phone.
