I've been with my boyfriend for 4 years! why can't they give it a rest? Do some of you ladies just wish your ex's would move far away from you?

I meant they try and contact me through myspace.

"Some" is a group. "Some of your ex-'s" is a group in an even larger group. Maybe "Some" of your ex's try to contact you because you have been through so many ex's that none of them think you are serious about the current boyfriend either. Just a thought ....

#1) They believe they still have a chance with u. somehow it's in the minds of your ex's that u are still interested or possibly easily convinced to get with them. #2) U are obviously too accessible and probably enjoy the attention. if u don't want them to be able to contact u, u will do something about it. for instance: change your phone #'s. if u run into him, keep it just barely cordial. no smile. no hug. no conversation. say hello and keep it movin. if they show up at your place tell them u will call the police and fill out a restraining order if necessary. show 'em that u are takin this disrespect seriously.
obviously i don't know, but i imagine that u probably enjoy the attention and knowing that u could get with an ex if u wanted. nothing wrong with that until they start crossing the line like they are now apparently doing.

Obviously the first thought that comes to mind is that they or "some" of them want to get back with you. What if they just want to be friends with you and nothing more. When they contact you...what kind of approach do they use? Just a thought...

B/c they're lonely. Nothing like loneliness to make someone realize that they've lost a good thing.
