I was in a small lobby of an office waiting for an interview, when this women entered the room, was handed an application and sat right next to me and started filling it out, there were other seats where she could have sat. why did she sit right next to me? ( I did put on some Axe before I left the house. Kinda feel like the guy in the commercials.)

how can i speed things up with this girl. She knows i like her, her friends know it. She said im cute but she wants to get to know me. Her friends say she's shy and i am to thats way they think its a good match. But i don't really know what she wants. some people are not interested in being friends with other people??? (I have been talking to lots of people recently in my class, job, clubs, and wherever I can find people). and it seems that they only want acquantance. They ask me for help in class and I help them and I ask them for help, and they help me. and some of the people never open up after talking to the same people after 2 months. They never start the conversation. I usually have to but most of the conversations are really short though.

Why is that??? If it has to do with trust issues, how can I get a person to trust me if they never open up with their issues? How can I get a good true friend? I feel like just quitting on talking to new people since they never seem to be a very good true friend (either not that responsive like "hi, did you do your homework?", "no", then that's the end of the conversation and that person never start talking to me though. or acquantance (person asks me for help and i ask them for help)

I met this guy on Saturday, we were all out in a group. We talked then he asked for my number & I gave it to him. But I knew that he probably wouldn't call the next day on Sunday or Monday cuz (it's long-weekend for Thanksgiving, here in Canada). Neways he got my number on Saturday, and now it's Tuesday? k so i just found out a few days ago that my boyfriend of 10 and a half months cheated on me. and its not like he just kissed another girl, he sucked on her b**b. shes a slut, she always has been. and the thing is, is that i trusted him, and loved him. i just dont know what to do anymore. just say anything you want about the situation, what you think about it, and what you would do. im heartbroken and im so upset he could ever do this to me. he meant the world to me. he was my everything. and now i feel like im nothing and that i wasnt worth his time and wasnt worth stopping himself from what he was doing.

I like my best friend's ex who she's been wit for like a year and some change. I grew to know him too like a brother and he grew to me like a sister. Know after about 3 to 4 months after they broke up, I like him.He still calls her and talks to us but my friend is tryin to get over him and stop picking up his calls. there's this guy i like and he's usually really loud, smiley, and outgoing. However, he's been acting differently . He's been unusually quiet, really solitary, and really distracted. I'm the only person who noticed this but, his eyes are unusually sad. Is something wrong? Please help! I'm really worried about him and i don't know what to do. After telling my best friend I'm in love with him and getting (politely) turned down, we are still the closest of friends.

At first I was just glad that he wasn't completely freaked out and horrified. The fact that he wanted to remain close friends was more than I could ever have hoped for. It was a huge gamble, after all.

The problem is, as we continue to spend most of our time together, I'm finding it increasingly painful to cope with the fact that he doesn't return my feelings. I value his friendship so highly- but, the fact is, I am in love with him and it's hurting me a great deal to be around him and have the rejection reinforced on a daily basis.

So I have been trying to ration my time with him. But the problem is that hurts too. So, should I just continue to be a good friend to him and learn to cope with the pain?

Theres this guy in my college class that i really like, we were out on Wednesday for class night out and i got way to drunk and told him i wanted to "do" him!! I started college a month and a half ago and on the second day i fell in love with a girl named Pamela. I've finally had enough courage 2 go and sit close 2 her although not next 2 her. She seems 2 have a closer relationship with another guy who happens 2 sit next 2 her and when i asked him about it yesterday(at the same time told him i liked her) he said that there just friends and he would keep it in mind.
