I started college a month and a half ago and on the second day i fell in love with a girl named Pamela. I've finally had enough courage 2 go and sit close 2 her although not next 2 her. She seems 2 have a closer relationship with another guy who happens 2 sit next 2 her and when i asked him about it yesterday(at the same time told him i liked her) he said that there just friends and he would keep it in mind. That same day we had a test and while "keeping it in mind" he made me sit next 2 her but it seemed awkward. how do i just surpass that stage and be close enough 2 her so that it wont seem that awkward 4 the both of us?

First, I would appreciate it if it could be remembered that this is a public forum and that it doesn't take that much more time to actually type out words and use proper grammar.

Second, it is awkward because you don't know this person. You and she are not even acquaintances and have no idea what each other think or feel. Which brings me to my next point, you cannot be in love with a person you don't know, you can however be infatuated which is what you are. Finally, the only way to become more comfortable with a person is to get to know them and become friends.

You will have to go out on a limb and risk being rejected by actually having a conversation with her. If she is receptive then you could ask her out, if she accepts then so on and so forth. If she declines then she is only a friend.

Hope this helps to explain how love works.

I've felt that way before.
What you do is you just keep talking to her, but not in an annoying way. Things will get in the flow once you've both talked for a while, and before you know it you're in your comfort zone. Hopefully she'll notice that and be more comfortable around you as well.
Just don't say anything too random just for the sake of saying something or else she won't have anything to relate to.

you're saying you like her. ok? So what in the international could ensue while you're actually not sitting next to her, one could see her. Watch her and watch her watchin you. This jogs my memory of my very own college days while i replaced into dealing with comparable subject. even nevertheless it did no longer materialise, i used to computer screen it tho' from a distance. attempt out this way and it heavily isn't embarrassing or awkward. yet tell me is the hearth on the different part besides? attempt speakin out your thoughts in direction of Pamela and the different guy will possibly no longer succeed. solid success!

spend time with her. pass her a note or walk by on your way to your seat and drop it on her desk. Make it mysterious. Women like that. or just say hi to her next time you are sitting close. Try to approach her in whatever way you are most comfortable. You don't have be all outgoing. But just make some kind of contact with her. And she will mostly likely respond if she's interested.

just take her off her feet, ask all about her.
slip her that quote from a poem you like so much,
tell her what kinda special that hair has her look...
then when the time is right take her hand look into her eyes say something like i like you and ask her to the movies a dinner a F*****G park.
that'l be that and you will be off the market for all the rest in the college. just remember to enjoy that first kiss or she's gone
