I think there are good arguments for and against a 10 year age difference. Some may not agree but I think if you are a 16 year old girl and seing a 26 year old man..that is a problem. What can a 16 year old have in common with someone 26? It seems almost unfair for the 16 year old to miss out on so much of the teen years growing and drama that are a very important part of growing up. And I would question the motives of a 26 year old man being involved with someone so young. Now on the flip side..if you are a 25 year old woman and involved with a 35 year old man, I really do not see a problem there. So I guess this may seem like double strandards, but really the age and maturity of a person are very important in any relationship.

In a relationship some age difference is bad...but others are good. If ur per-say a teenager about maybe 14 or 15 then a 10 year difference would be a lil awkward to those ppl. But if your not in school or doing anything academicly and ready for a serious relationship then a 10 year difference isnt really all that bad. Basicly, this same thing has happend to my mom to, she has been married 2 times and both of her husbands were at least 8 or 9 years older than her. So what I'm saying is that it all determans on how old you are...cause some age different relationships end up being really awkward.

Does age matter in a relationship? YES, if both individuals are not consenting adults, but NO if they are. The real dilemma concerning this matter is maturity. If the two people in the relationship are able to communicate effectively with each other and have some of the same interests, I say why not make it happen. Always remember there is that thing called experience in which the older person has the advantage. The older person may not want to do some of the things that the younger person likes to do because of the "been there, done that" attitude, although that's not the case with all couples. Just make sure that you make a decision in your best interest, and not because you want to experiment.

No, 10 years is not a bad difference. There is not much of a generation gap. I would however suggest that the female portion be the younger person. Women mature faster than men do. For instance, if a male is 40 he shares the same maturity level as a woman that is 30. Although some men mature faster than normal. Just remember communication is the key and having things in common is also a big help. Also remember that a younger male has a tendency to wonder looking for the right partner to settle down with.......... Good Luck in your relationship

That all depends on the ages u r at now. If you are 15 and hes 25..no thats not ok. If you are both over the ages of lets say,,,24,,then thats cool,,,,both have to be more than legal i would have to say.

no I dont think age should matter. unless one of them is under 16. and actually it all depends on who they are and the maturity of both. now if this is a question that is really real, than NO. no problem here.

Depends on where the 10 years falls. As long as you're both legal, it's fine.
