I want to try my best to build a relationship with this girl by visiting her etc. etc. hanging out with her at lunch and all that. I'm planning on spending a good 2 months on trying to make her a best friend and then finally asking her out on a date so it feels more comfortable. Is this a better method than doing it on the spot?

The only thing that concerns me is if someone else asked her out within that time frame. She is only a sophomore right now and school started August. She doesn't know too many guys so that's kinda relieiving to me honestly. But I don't know what to do.

now, she was receptive and happy about it at the end of our date, and I also talked to her on the phone the next night. I had left a message the night after that but no call back from her and she has been gone all weekend too so I didn't expect a call all weekend here. Now my question is will I look to needy or worried if I just try calling her tonight or will she be appreciative of it even though I last left a message last Thursday to call me that night if she had a chance. My next question would be if it would come across to weird to her if I just told her I missed her this weekend...or does that come across as needy too. Here's the basics. I wasn't at school the day this happened. This kid in my grade smacked my girlfriends backside in front of a lot of people. She said that all she could say was "Never do that again." The kid tried to make up for it by telling her that his mom had recently died. I know differently. I know that his mom did not die recently, but actually four years ago. He actually lives on my street. He's done this to a lot of girls in my grade, but I feel especially bad because he obviously knew I wasn't gonna be at school that day and chose to smack my gal's butt only because I wasn't there and he had wanted to do it for a long time. Now I feel awful because I wasn't there to protect her. I prayed about it, but I'm STILL not sure. This week we're on fall break so I've got some time to think on it. But since the kid lives on my street I have the option of beating him up without getting in trouble. Please help me!

Religion is a strong block in my relationship with me and my gf ....I really can't stand the fitght between love and faith ...when I consider the strenght of my love for her, and the fact that I am feeling comfortable with the spirituality she pratices that is also a part of her she cannot deny, it is very painful ..For it to work , one of us has to accept the spirituality of the other, not forcefully, but with good sense we see it might be necessary ., if not, it's gonna be extremely painful to maintain .... but love is still there ...I don't know what to do ...I seem to take a round of yes and no in my mind ...I am ambivalent .... what do you think I shoud do other than move on ?

Well, i am in love with this boy, but my mind is on girls alot. I tend to act raunchy around them and stuff without knowing it, and sometimes i just give them hugs without realizing it. I go to church- im a Christian, and i was taught that being a lesbian or bi means that i will go to hell. I havent told anyone about this, but i have taken the possibility. My boyfriend wants us to get married and I would love to marry him, in fact nothing would make me happier, but I dont think we're ready. He is the love of my life and a really good person in all areas, like my best friend.(guy friend) but he had alot of things going on in his life outside of our relationship and I have things going on with me. We are deeply in love and I know that but I think that we should wait to make such a big commitment to eachother but I dont know how to tell him that I love him with all my heart but I dont think we should get married right now. I think it would be good for us to be engaged but to wait to actually get married but I dont want to put any more stress on either of us than I have to.
