honey, i beleive in 9th grade, you should be a virgin, and i'm here to congrat you. That is a great thing, your mom should be proud. But as for the question, men respect virgins because they know you are still pure, but keep that virginity until your in love. if he's asking if you are, then that means he's already thinking of doing the deed, and as far as i can tell, it's just a crush, right? He will probably respect you. But, at the same time, try to be the one to take your virginity. If I knew then what I REALLY know now, I would have never started having sex. Not that sex is not a good feeling, but I would have much rather waited until the right person came along. Do not let him pressure you into do something that you do not want to do. So, watch out, a lot of guys want to be your first. Think like this, you are a very respected person right now on my part, I wish I could have said in 9th grade, I was still a virgin.

Its a great thing that you are a virgin. You should be true to yourself and try to make the right desicions and should never be ashamed for what you choose. If he does act weird, which he shouldnt, because being a virgin is not a bad thing at all, but if he does act weird than stay away from him, hes not worth your time if he acts weird over that. Take care of yourself and never be ashamed of who you are just to make a boy happy.

If he treats you bad because you are, what are you doing liking him? It shouldn't matter whether or not you are or aren't. It's a good thing you told him the truth though or you'd be stuck with having a burden on your shoulders.
I personally wouldn't of answered that if I was you. I don't like to get asked personal questions like that if I'm not with the person.
If he told you it wasn't a big deal then I would guess he still likes you.

Being a virgin is a good thing, especially at your age. It is even better that you didn't lie. Lying is not a way to begin a relationship. Be proud of who you are.

the fact you are talking about sex in 9th grade is perhaps normal, however I would be very careful, getting pregnant in 9th grade may be an adverse situation, if he is interested in sex.

if he doesn't like you because you're not a w h o r e then he's a loser who was just going to use you anyway. it's not a bad thing to be a virgin and if getting laid is all he is worried about then don't waste your time with him.
