Singles & Dating - 3 October 2006

There's this boy in my homeroom that I really like, and I've liked him for a while. I'm a little shy so it's hard to say anything to him or anything like that. He sits in front of my friend in homeroom, so I get a chance to look at him (for want of a better set of words), but I don't know if he likes me back or not. He's a nice kid, and he used to tease me every now and then, but I don't know if he was just playing or flirting back. I'm pretty much stuck, because my parents aren't the type to talk about crushes with, and only one of my friends knows me well enough to understand. Therefore, there's not too many people I can talk to. By the way, don't tell me to try to get over him. I've already had to get over two people that I couldn't get over last year, and I don't want to have to do it again because it hurts so much. Also, please don't tell me just to drop hints, please mention the types of hints as well. Please help!

Me and this girl talk all the time, i really really like her, my friend said she was a liar which she isnt casue i disscused it with her, and i havent heard anyone else say so, but anyway she said she couldnt talk to me on im so i waited awhile and when i came back she said she was board for someone to give her a call, well i was like i thought u just told me u were board and then i started to think she was lying. Well turns out she was eating and was not lying, i told her i was srry but she hasnt said anything, is there anything else i could say to her to get her to forgive me??

Everyone keeps telling me she's just tryin to make me jealous and run back to her. I'll talk about that later but Im going to give her a note and it says "I need to be honest with you for a minute. I met this guy online, he lives about an 8 hour drive. I'm going to meet him for the first time in a few weeks. I wouldn't have a problem moving to his city if I really believed he was the ONE, but is it possible to figure out if he's the ONE when he lives so far away? i told my b/f that I love him which i absolutely do. He is the most amazing person i have ever met, kind intelligent trustworthy unselfish...everything I want. he didnt say it back....he has never been in love before. he said he was so happy that i said it but wanted to wait until he knew he really was. he said i could tell him i loved him whenever i wanted to. i feel like an idiot and now im so upset that he doesnt feel the same way.

i was in love with this girl, im not sure if i still am
i barley talk to her anymore
but when we talk, im pretty happy (but then i get angry thinking of times she hurt me and got my upset)

I have been dating a girl for about three months however I have known here for a couple of years, she even flew out to meet my folks and we dicussed me study abroad for four months and making it work, but I don't think she can handle it, I think she is freaking out, is it worth me trying to hold on if she cannont commit to me for four months? Are you finding that now a days, guys are getting cheap. Not only that they want you to pay your own way on a date they are wanting to to treat them to. They want you to buy them things and take care of them. Its like your courting them.I don't go out with them again or I take a cab home. If I have to pay his way and mine that is the cost of a cab ride. I know alot of you ladies say that its better going dutch. Yeah maybe if your just friends. Alot of you say that if a guy pays your way he might want something from you.
I kind think thats negative thinking. I think a guy should value a women and make her feel like a women. Treat her like she special. Have her best interests in mind. I know you guys are saying well there are girls out there that want to take advantage of me and use me for money. Really you don't have to take her out some where fancy just show her respect and be a gentleman instead of trying to take care of your own best interest by trying to get whatever you want.
